Maps for an Inn, Guesthouse, and Lodge house now exist.  Working on the North Gate of the City Walls.  This kind of design effort takes more than I remembered. :icon_lol:

I nearly finished a plague marine
Came close to finishing 4 Howling Griffons
AND fiddled around with several other kits.

I also dusted and organised my colossal Empire army. It nearly takes up the table but feel it could use a few more units.

Done (well, as per usual, apart from the flock on their bases). At last. Done and done (well, apart from the fact that the photos have revealed I need to correct some eyes and that I missed a pike head). Donely done!

Had to be done. Just lined them all up in a marching column. Very satisfying ...

That's a LOT of work for a couple of moment's feeling like a child again, making ratatat drum beat noises as I lined them up!

I now have a proper little halfling battalion. 36 pike, 39 bowmen. Well, I say 'men'.

Huzzah!

That lineup was worth every minute! Awesome. I’m not a huge fan of likes but these guys have changed my tune about them.

I think when he typed 'likes' he was trying to type 'pikes', but in that case it is still bad because pikes and the Empire should go together like ... erm ... a needle and thread? Erm, I have lost my way even in such a short comment.

Ghah!  Pikes!

I really get annoyed at auto correct sometimes.
I think I have committed some sort of empire heresy.  ::heretic::

Just heading for bed and I lock the door but what is sitting outside?

Warcry! Thank you GP! Freakin heavy box. There’s my day 84

Btw - it’s 7:40 pm. Yes.  Bed. 26 days straight or something like that.

Check out the terrain

And yet another edit. These guys can be added to my skaven/beast man army. Was my lowest point army, now a full 2500 pts.

Week 12:
Friday 17th & Sunday 19th:
I finished some Bretonnian Mordheim figures. Only the Bases left.

Monday 20th:
I received some old GW Lord of the Rings terrain in the mail and started working on them to use as Warcry Terrain.

Tuesday 21th:
I finished my home made Warcry playing board.

Wednesday 22th:
I worked some more on the terrain, removing mold lines, flash and other bits. They are almost ready to be primed.
I'm also trying to construct a goblin idol from the throne of the goblin king from the hobbit set. The back is just open, so I need to work that out. Do you guys have some ideas to make it a little rock like?

Yes Artoban, that terrain is beautiful!
But the boxset was a little expensive when you didn't need the warbands inside. And on ebay that terrain went for bonkers prices.

As the GF and youngest are off having a mini vaction I had/have some more hobby time

Week 11
July 10th:
-Finished up building my cabinets for the hobby room and started to move stuff in their new locations (mostly my (starwars) lego, but some warhammer also, will continue that today the 11th)
July 11th:
-All my warhammer models and modelling stuff got a place now in the cabinets
July 13th:
-Magnetized all the bases from my Death Guard and also moved them up in to the cabinets, except the 2 Foetid Bloat Drones as I'm working on 1 and have the other as reference.
-Painted some more on the Foetid Bloat Drone
-Got to rummage through the new 9th Ed FAQ's for WH40k

Week 12
July 17th:
-Got my Kill Team Killzone Death World Forest in, so have assembled the first 3 parts (china cast so lots of moldlines and will need some greenstuff to hide joints)
-Got some more work done on my Foetid Bloat Drone
July 19th:
-Been building all day on the Death World Forest, but managed to finish building them!
July 20th:
-Got some more paint on my 10 fire warriors
July 21st:
-Build some more Frostgrave soldiers, got 12 total now
-Put some more paint on the Fire warriors
July 22nd:
-Even more paint on my Fire Warriors
Everyone is entitled to be stupid, but some abuse the privilege.

I'm impressed that UPS was so quick and didn't charge as much as USPS.  Sent on Saturday and even with the border shut down, obviously the mail is still going through.  And in excellent shape too.

Its 3:30am in the morning here, and I am up early, but seeing that these have arrived has me very glad!

I pulled out my box to look at the the back side of it closer up ... and not sure about skaven/beasts. The Iron Golems look like Chaos ... maybe Khorne? The Untamed Beasts remind me of Maurauders or Norsca.  However, there was a time when Chaos, Beasts, and Skaven were all in one army, so go for it!  And there are those other 12 figures in there called Chaotic Beasts (the Furies and Raptoryx) ... so that's is a total of 29 figures.  I'm looking forward to opening my box up, it has been sitting here for longer than I want to admit ... lol.  Plus I bought a Splinter Fang warband as well, for me they seemed too cool looking not have.  Could be Tzeentch or Slaanesh, maybe Khorne too.

Yeah, I think a typo + me reading it wrong + me not knowing how to write lead to the confusion.

Monday
I been trying to squeeze as much info about Stormcasts as possible, I use to know a little but now I have no idea why they have different names.

Tuesday:
Still doing research about storm cast and cutting cardboard for a paint rack.

Wednesday
Had to do some hobby shopping after running out of glue and box cutter blades. Still reading about Stormcast to write a small story. If its any good I will post it here.

That terrain is also available seperate I think

https://www.games-workshop.com/en-NL/Age-Of-Sigmar-Azyrite-Ruined-Chapel-2019

The box set was $170 here.  GW's current price is nuts at $280.  My local store had purchased their product at the beginning when Warcry was first released and still sells them for the $170 price.  Perhaps GW is giving "free shipping" ... lol.

Those two terrain sets are $99 ... so buying the 3 sets of figures on top for the remaining $71 seems of value.  Plus there is a rule book, cards, and tokens for game play.  My Splintered Fang set of 10 figures was $50.  So 29 figures for $71 isn't bad at just under $2.5 per figure.
