Title: Small Fortification

That's really great!

I bet it's fun to game around with ... since the new building scenery sprue came out, your fort seems too historical... OR GW really went to town on making theirs fantastical; either way, I love'em both.

Post by: Rosencrantz on July 16, 2007, 07:18:57 PM: Nice fort, it does look similar to the new kit, showing that Gamesworkshop didn't really have a lot of imagination when they designed it. If you are in the mood for some further work it might be nice to make a set of civilian buildings to go with it - that way you can play an attack on a village and add depth to the game

@fbjorn: The Bases is styrodur (polystyrene). The copplestones are cardboard cut with a holepuncher. The walls, the house and he tower are made from 6mm selitron (another kind of polystyrene).

The walkways are made from wood, the gate and the windows are carved out of hardfoam. That basicly it. :-)

@Guildenstern: The food is made from fimo. You can get this stuff in lots of different colors, so that you do not have to paint it. So you only have to put it together in a proper way to get bread, cheese, sausages and bacon. :-D
