Ive been busy recently working on a Morr themed empire army for an upcoming campaign and also to have them ready for Agom at the start of march. Heres a few pics of some of the bits ive got done so far:

Halberdiers (kitbash with militia to give a more rugged look)

xbowman unit

Luminark of hysh

Warrior priest

Cannon, still need to do the crew

back of cannon

Anyway though id just get some feedback from you guys about how its going. Still have about 900 points to do in next 6 weeks so expect plenty of updates.

Looks really great to me - I love the use of the trees as unit fillers, and the cannon is inspired!

really got the bug with these guys at the minute so spent all morning painting a 15 man halb detatchment and started building my outriders. The halbs still need a few more highlights and basing and the outriders need a lot of GS work and some more bits adding. I also need to grab some of the repeater xbow cartridges from a dark elf kit to make my xbows fit the outrider multi shot better, as you can imagine i didnt think morr would have access to the outrider guns but didnt want to hamper myself too much in game.

Also thanks for all the feedback guys its much appreciated and i look forward to hearing your thoughts on these guys

I like the idea of the outriders!!! the look great with the crossbows of militia.

I think you could try to give a bit of colour to your army. It's a morr's army so it had to be dark, but i think it could be better if you use more colours than black and a bit of purple.

You can use greys and purples and green because they mix very well.

I have been watching the army and I hadn't seen the effect of fire. Well done!!

i wanted to keep the pallet very dark and use the source lighting to add the colour to the units, the outrider holding what looks like a club will eventually be carrring a torch once i greenstuff the flames and i will have some OSL from him onto the riders next to him. I was also hoping the snow would give a nice contrast to the darker models but i do take on board your advice about maybe adding a bit more colour. Thanks for the feedback

Lovely looking so far, the sparse pallette is helping the grimness for sure, love the mental looking priest, you know he doesn't bother wiping the dribble from his chin

I agree, Really love the grim, darkness to the army, but a spot colour would not hurt..

thanks for all the feedback so far guys its much appreciated. I will be sitting down with these guys tonight to get some more done and was just wondering for those suggesting a spot colour what would you go with? I like the dark theme but considered adding a red spot until i noticed that nuln was red and black and dont want my army mistaken for those gun crazy madmen. As you can see the models have a bit of purple on so i could maybe add more of that or failing that im open to suggestions.

I think purple is good - that is a color associated with death and mourning in many cultures, as well as royalty. You can get a nice dark purple and also some brighter lilacs and so forth - that will give you lots of options. Amythest gems could be painted, too. Lots of different choices to brighten them up without making them look too cheerful.

had an hour spare this morning so painted my shadow mage, i mi8ght use this bluey colour as a spot colour on a few of the troops within units too just to brighten them up a little, its also the colour on my luminark lenses. Anyway as always any feedback would be great as i say only took me an hour so its no masterpiece but im pretty happy with him.

thanks mate, im really happy with the cannons. Speaking of which here is my work in progress 2nd cannon of Morr, i was going to only do one but after a game against WOC this week ive started a 2nd.

2nd cannon almost done, heres a shot of my 2 cannons side by side. 1 to take out the knees and the other to head shot the army of daemon princes i can see on the horizon. What do you guys think?
