I choose too keep "Old Warhammer" alive with my blood sweat and tears.

It's bad that warhammer might die but it would be a tragedy if it stays dead!

NSP and TWRP's version of "Africa" is way better than Weezer's cover of it...and dare I say I like it better than the original by Toto.

I can see why you'd say that.  It's a really good cover, definitely do like it more than Weezer's.

Saw Black Moth Super Rainbow and Stargazer Lilies over the weekend. The latter really stole the show for me. I could have listened to/watched them for hours.

Had to get rid of a couple hundred cds, 4 boxes of vinyl records, cassettes (!?)  In all, my entire music collection. Was feeling pretty bad about that until my son said 1 word - Spotify. This is old hat to All you tech savvy peeps but news to me. Holy Crap! now every piece of music I ever wanted is at my finger tips. Everything from quatermass to yat kha, burle Ives to Johnny Horton, medieval baebes to Wagner. I can’t believe it. If I want to upgrade to premium, $10 a month and I don’t have to sit thru a bloody YouTube video to hear it. Life is good. When I get the new room together, there may be a small chance at enjoyment in life 😸
Wait....that doesn’t fit with my Scottish heritage.  Life without bitching is not quite worth it from that angle

Not exactly ”listening to” (at the moment, that'd be a Slumber Party song on Pandora) but I just bought tickets to a show on Massive Attack's Mezzanine anniversary-ish tour for my wife for her birthday.

I admit that I won't mind going along in any way :engel: but it’s a "must see" for her, especially since Elizabeth Fraiser is touring with them. My wife is also a singer, and E.F. is one of her idols.

Every now and again I'll find a classical song from a movie, game or commercial/trailer and will listen to it. This is one such song. Its in everything but I always think of the title screen from the game "Return Fire" but I think it was also in the street fighter movie/trailer and for sure it was in "Fury Road"

Was set to go, but tickets to the UK shows were over £50 each and that's just too much for a band that aren't among my very favourites. That said, I did pay that much to go and see Jeff Wayne's War of the Worlds live arena show last night, so please don't think I'm afraid to spend the money ;)

Today I've mostly been listening to Charlotte Carpenter, as she had a new single out this weekend

Heard this on the radio on my way to pick up my daughter from daycare last night and I've been humming it since:

I love "Digital Love" by Daft Punk (favorite song by them!) and I also love "September" by Earth, Wind, and Fire.  Someone did a lovely mashup of these songs!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m548DsoGPsQ

funny story, digital love was playing while we were at the cash register in walmart this past weekend and I started singing it...out loud...in public...

My wife was very confused and also enjoyed it.

I remember going, on my own, to Interstella 5555 at the local arts cinema, when I was 16.

Damn I was cool.

Looping this. I usually hate music videos universally but something about a horde of Mongolians trading in the steppe ponies for Harley’s is quite fun. Throat singing with a bit of rock. Totally acceptable
