What did you get painted in 2024? What do you plan to paint in 2025? Time to crow about accomplishments... or grovel in shame. Time to over-commit for next year!
I'll go first, because I am a bit inspired to this post as I wrap up a very tedious round of painting additional swordsmen and halberdiers... Not that I have big plans for them. It's just that (shamefully) I've had some unfinished blocks of state troops for years (Decades?
) and I know when the new book drops I will be focusing on other things, so desperately trying to close them out before I get distracted. But it was actually a big year for me. I'm pretty happy with my accomplishments and motivated for the new book!
Completed in 2024
- General on Imperial Griffon
- Wizard Lord on Imperial Griffon
- Wizard on Pegasus (Partially... need to finish the pegasus)
- BSB on Barded Steed (completed this model, had been partially done before)
- 2 Empire Engineers
- Helblaster Volleygun and Crew
- 20 Swordsmen
- 32 Halberdiers
- Ogre Tyrant on Foot
- Ogre Butcher on Foot (completed partially painted model)
- And I hope to complete a BSB and a General on foot, and also that wizard's pegasus in the next two weeks to round out the year
Commitments for 2025
- 6 Ogre Man Eaters
- 2 Mortars and crew
- Priest of Ulric on Foot
- Beast Magic wizard on foot
- Grand Master of the knights panther
- Complete 15 Knights of the white wolf (They just need hair, highlights, a couple of details, and bases)
- Maybe a war wagon or two?
- Maybe another Steam tank?
