Great tarpits I think... but with WS2 (or was it 1?) and ASL they'll never kill anything, ever.

50 is fine. Their numbers will quickly be boosted.
And as Aldaris said, they won't kill anything. But they will be great to protect the killy units' flanks.

They're ghouls a Vampire has let drink his blood.

Fat ghouls then. I see.

I found my skeletal war mammoth model.

Which thing in the VC list should it use the rules for? I think maybe the mortis engine?

I'm not sure either of those feels right. It's a skeletal mammoth with a howdah!

I read on the VC forum that mortis engines are quite good.

Mortis Engine seems like it'd be the best fit...just say the relic is being carried in the howdah, and there you go.  And it being a chariot (with impact hits) feels right for a mammoth, to me.

Out of curiousity, where did you get the mammoth model?  I wouldn't mind running out a mortis engine someday, but no way in hell am I ever buying the GW one; it's too expensive for a model that I hate.

I bought the mammoth about a million years ago. I think it's a Grenadier model? I'm not sure if it's still available.

This is what the skelephant looks like (obviously it's unpainted). The crew are a bit dodgy but the skelephant itself is nice.

Wait, elephants don't have bones in their trunks! Oh well.

Also, I repainted my ancient and derelict skeleton chariot. It's not that nice a model, but it looks OK now.

I think it should be a corpse cart.

What, the proper one? Or just using some random old chariot (my other corpse cart is the old plague cart model). I quite like the plastic corpse cart, but it doesn't look like something I'd enjoy painting.

the skelephants head looks weird.

What model is it?
It might be valuable!

A friend of mine had that skelephant, or one very similar - he painted the "trunk" as bronze plates replacing the missing appendage.

It was made by Grenadier Models.

I think it's still sold by some Italian company, so I doubt it's worth that much.

I found a picture of a painted example, and the trunk is made from bronze plates there too. So I probably just haven't looked closely at the model!
