Topic: Warhammer Historical and Warhammer Empire? (Pike & Shot/Cid/S&C)

Im looking at warlords Pike and Shot army thinking about how and if these miniatures would make for a good empire army. It could have a nice theme and with a little bit of work would not loose much of its "Mojo" to the pike and shote era.

Warhammer Historical has some nice rules. I have only ever played fall of the west but I was wondering if anyone else has had experiences "Stealing" themes and campaign data to make intresting fantasy armies. (El Cid as Bretonia would be an intresting mix.)

"Siege and Conquest" has a lot of general information that's good for WFB as well as ancients through renaissance.

I sometimes use my late medieval figures in my Empire army.
