hey terrain makers...
« on: February 10, 2010, 04:47:32 PM »
What could I use to remove the label glue from a can? I have removed the label but there is still some adhesive residue left.

I'm going to attempt a couple of 40k style storage tanks just to experiment and try to get back into terrain making again.

Any suggestions would be great but if you can try to keep it around common household items as I'm a bit on the broke side at this time.

Thanks!

Wet it, and try scraping it with an old toothbrush.
or, wet it and scrape it off with some scraper.

Depending on the glue, you can try a product called "Goo Gone". I put a little on a paper towel and scrub most glues off containers. I usually use it to get sticker residue off when they don't peel off well.

Warm soapy water tends to work for most glues like that since they will only be water based.
