That said, I do love me the Alpha Legion. I've had a semi worked out plan to make a renegade group of alpha legion that can be used in 30k and 40k as loyalist or traitors. Have them be die hard Imperial Truthers that refuse to have anything to do with chaos, but don't like what the Imperiums become. Kind of like the one Alpha marine guy in a recent book who was dealing with necrons.

I was actually just trying to find out! It was a recent book, and I'm sure hydra was in the name.

Edit: It's called Sons of the Hydra.

Well I should have known that since I read it about 10 books ago lol. Getting old and forgetful may have its good points as I forget what I’ve read. The Library may have its second use 😸

Wife never watched Star Trek growing up. Lately just to have something on in the background she's been watching TNG. I had her watch the Darmok episode today (one of my favorite episodes). She loved it! Now we keep speaking Tamarian to each other.

My dad and I once took a UK borne friend of ours out to a local forest. He kept referring to the small, nearby forest as a 'jungle' and was convinced that a herd of roo's which hopped by were raptors.

Two years to the day that I dropped dead 😺 if I was a cat, I have used up 5 of my 9 lives. 4 to go. Apparently I was in the 2% full recovery group although I think they dropped the ball in the mental tests.
