So my predatory and toxic Canadian Mortgage company just called, my 5 year fixed rate mortgage is due and instead of foreclosing like the Snidely Whiplash caricatures other mortgage brokers get, they are lowering my interest rates, not to 5% but BY 5% my payments are going down by 200.00 per month and I still get mortgage insurance rolled into that price. And to top it all off I'm about 10,000 lower on the principle than I thought I was too. Yayyyyy!!!
See this is why Forbes magazine voted Canada the number one place to invest in business this year (rising from 4th last year while the US dropped from 8th to 10th) our very conservative banking system and a harmonization of some of our provincial tax systems. certain Mediterranean might want to consider following suit.
