Someone I know made a similar fall. 15 years later he is still learning to function again.
He's in a wheelchair and his speech is nearly unintelligable...

Of course, now I want to play a dice based game against you next Bash. Karma dictates that such luck should be compensated by a full year of shitty dice rolls on your part.....

I think my ambulance trick trumps you though - just

I can remember building a big bonfire for November 5th when I was a teenager and had climbed up near the top - then made the mistake of trusting a random branch for support.
I doubt it was more than 10 feet, but I luckily landed on my back on soft ground ......................

................. though I suppose it could explain a lot of things.

Off to Chiang Mai in Thialand tomorrow morning with my wife for a weeks holiday, AND have left the kids with my sister for the week. Early morning drinking and late nights out here I come! All completed with loads of good food, massage (my back is quite tight after my fall last week) and actually sleeping all the way through the night without getting woken up by an 18 month old!!!!!
I might even get a bit of a tan too.
Got a day with the elephants, an all day wedding to go to and lunch with an old friend. Hell, i'm even looking forward to watching three films in peace on the way over and back. Six movies will be more than I've watched in the last year.

I'll keep you informed, im in the second best hotel in town so there better be wifi!No back packing for me.
