Advice: Ban the shadow warrior warband or nerf them with house rules.

Banning them is the correct answer. In Mordheim, the statline is everything, and the Elves are so far ahead of everybody else that it breaks the careful balance of the game.

Their magic and special rules just make things worse.

This is why GW just banned them outright and buried the Elf miniature line shortly after their release. They knew they screwed up badly and just wanted to bury that mistake.

They talked about bringing them back at some point, but never got around to it. Probably because it was just too difficult to make it work.

While I like GW Elves quite a bit, they're just too elite for Mordheim.
