Fair enough Cannon, that was perhaps the wrong phrase to use. Point still stands that I don't have a lot of money for, well, anything right now.

And as I've covered in the past, my dad has done extremely well for himself, partly out of having really, really good timing for some things. I don't anticipate doing nearly as well in the working world. Not badly, but not nearly as well. And honestly, that's fine with me.

One thing I dont like in Deus Ex is that if you have a gun in your inventory, trying to pick up another just gives you ammo. I want to pick up superflous guns to sell to people!

Yeah, early on in Detroit it is a good idea to just sell one, go get the gun, sell that one, and repeat.  By about half way you will have so much money it really won't matter.

Yeh, that's what I'm doing.

I stupidly bought the typhoon system with my first 2 praxis points, which put me at a disadvantage in terms of hacking and getting around Detroit.
But I'm up to level 4 hacking now, with enough 12k credits, so can buy 2 more praxis points.

I think I have done all the detroit side quests now, apart from the final stage of the O'malley one. Need to get into the DMB territor... vigilant fuckers make it hard.

I found sneaking into DMB territory really easy...

It is made much easier if you have the move heavy objects upgrade.

The entire game was really easy.  I played through the DMB and got the ghost and smooth operator bonuses with only about 6 reloads.

I am getting jacked about the Dead Island WE gaming boys!  You better not back out on me.  I come from a family with money and though I am only middle class I can get tickets to Norway and Wales from my Grampa and kick your Euro asses!

Tell Gramps to get you a ticket to Belgium next year! You can kick several Euro asses there with only one ticket - very economic.

If it were in April/May I might be able to make it to the Eurobash in 2 years.

Also, I'm getting Dead Island because if I theoretically trade things in toward BF3 and then switch the preorder to Dead Island I get 30% extra trade in value.

So I'm getting rid of some of the games I don't play. Sorry Wiss (there will still be some left over!)

I don't want this to become a paint an army for Wiss thing, but I actually have a heap of PS3 games (30 - 40) most of which I don't play.  I am also violently against trading in anything to Gamestop because they are bitches!

I would be willing to throw some games down South.  What type of games are you into?

Sorry Wiss (there will still be some left over!)

Man, don't even worry about me.  I appreciate the offer but don't want you altering stuff on my account.  I may play the role of a mooch rather well on here at times but I'm not that needy.

I don't want this to become a paint an army for Wiss thing,

Why not, it worked before! :closed-eyes:

I would be willing to throw some games down South.  What type of games are you into?

RPG, sports, some shooters as long as it's nothing too insanely graphic.

Off the top of my head, I have at home Modern Warfare 2, LA Noire, Assassin's Creed 2, Uncharted 2, Red Dead Redemption, Batman Arkham Asylum, Heavy Rain, and Borderlands.

I intend to trade in MW2, LA Noire, and maybe Red Dead.

The rest are fair game. Unless I decide I really need to play Arkham Asylum more in the next week or so.

Oh, and because I'm bored and avoiding homework, I would recommend with little hesitation Uncharted 1, Demon's Souls, Vanquish, Fallout 3/New Vegas (the only real way to play those is on PC, with a bajillion mods, but if needs must... ;)), Battlefield: Bad Company 2 (if you get this with the online pass I will play with you, also Vietnam expansion is totally worth $15), Bioshock, Mass Effect 2 (you don't need to have played the first one, there is a comic that will catch you up on the major plot points), Little Big Planet, Dragon Age: Origins (Philly will disagree with me, and again, PC is the best way to play), Dragon Age 2 (everyone but Aldaris will disagree with me, and again, PC is the best way), Just Cause 2 (I have put about 140 hours into the PC version, and have about 50% completion. Still not tired of it), Portal 2, NCAA or NFL 11 (the new versions ares out, but only features minor changes for double the price), and flower for something entirely, entirely different from anything else you've ever played, but worth it nonetheless.

Also, I play a lot of violent games. I never really realized how many before...

I think the first ME is definitely worth playing. Only the mako bits are annoying!
I think I like it more than ME2 to be honest.
Bioshock may well be my favourite console game of all time.

I already said I wasted 2 points on the typhoon... I'm going to buy 2 praxis points first thing this evening though, and spend one on jumping, and one on move heavy stuff.

I would love to be able to play most of the games you listed. My collection right now of XBOX games is: Madden 11, CoD Black Ops, Dragon Age Origins and an empty Fable 3 case, since my wife sent the game to Netflix, and they apparently "never found it".

I agree with you on this bit, but I honestly kind of enjoyed exploring in the Mako, I just wish it hadn't been so pointless most of the time.
