I am pretty far in. I just got that device that allows you to access their psi net (after shooting down the over seers ship. I have archangel armor and titan armor and all of the plasma weapons (as well as the alloy weapons).

Part of my problem is I have 3 heavies (my only two psi guys are heavies) in my main squad. I will be going through with only one next time (plus 2 support, 1 sniper, and two assault).

I am going to replay it under CLassic and then ironman after that.

The rise in difficulty from normal to classic is immense.....I suggest you start non ironman mode.

Oh for sure. I meant I would do one with Classic, then try Ironman after (probably on regular difficulty!)

I started the game in Classic Ironman....there was some nights I had to cry myself to sleep.

I really like heavies… no one else seems to. Normally I run 2 heavies, 2 supports (probably my favourite class) 1 assault and 1 sniper. I take 2 hover shivs on terror missions. Blaster launch the cover away, then “in the zone” everything.

I have restarted the game on classic since I feel less manly for not having played it.

I am Dead Island on PS3. Patsy and I got in a game once but timezones make it a struggle.

Rage is fun and would be better very cheap (short game).

It is a CPU pig though so have a beast video card ready.

I played rage on the 360. It was a fun little game albeit a bit of a let down and the ending sucked. For £6.49 I thought it was worth having it on a computer.
I’ll get dead island then whitey! Do I need to buy a thing to let me talk over the pc?

Can I buy dead island at a different computer using my steam account (ie, at work), then DL it on the computer I want it on?

what difficulty? On Classic I sacrificed south America early on, but only lost those two and now panic is a total non issue. .

I think you need good luck early to get engineer rewards and abduction missions where you need them, but it’s certainly possible on normal to save everywhere, and I’m sure people have on classic too.
