Are they adding free content to Destiny grutch?
Salvage missions, iron banner, queens wrath etc?
If so that's awesome, negates the small world criticism and makes me more open to buying dlc
I do not know what Bungie plans for the future. I left the company in February this year to work at Neversoft and we have recently been rolled into Infinity Ward where I'm currently employed. I can't say what I'm working on but I'll tell you guys soon enough!
On Destiny I worked in visual effects mainly on vehicular effects like thrusters, explosions and damage, spidertank, Cabal Vehicles and a lot of dropships as well as a few of the weird monsters like the hive banshee (are they still calling it a banshee?) It's the rotating orb like creature that hovers around and blasts at you. It also chases you with it's dying remnants after you kill it.
Bungie has massive plans for Destiny, I can't really divulge but you will enjoy what they offer as they go. I only hope they can keep people interested as they continue to update it with more features and content. Lots of the criticism I have seen I completely agree with and have even voiced myself as an employee. The problem with productions this massive and expensive is that there's just a reality of money and time and what can be produced in that capsule. There are few individuals and teams that can pull off a production of this magnitude successfully, and while I don't think their launch was perfect, it has gone pretty smooth compared to other big productions.
I agree on the story criticisms by the way, I was never happy with it from the day I walked in and read the documents. That sort of stuff is out of my hands, all I do is make fire smoke and magic for my boss, he's probably not too interested in my storytelling advice.
