I rather liked the simple plot of FO1.

Also gameplay of Battlefront looks amazing to me!

I'm both happy and sad upon hearing the FO4 news. Had? Sadpy? It means that I will have to somehow magically save up for a Xbone. Given my probable sacking (more on that tomorrow) it won't be very likely I can get one in time. :(

The games I got in my sights right now are For Honor and Sea of Thieves. (I believe my experience at pirates, knights and Vikings 2 will give me an advantage in For Honor).

Also, the game "Toy Soldiers: war chest" just revealed it's new factions. I love the german military of WW1 but the masters of the universe and G.I Joe toys will be a trip down nostalgia lane.

I think that for Fallout:4 the plot will revolve around trying to find your wife/husband and child. It's said that you emerge from the vault and that everyone in there is dead, but you don't get the feeling that this includes the spouse and child (which would have a serious emotional response as his encounter with his old Mr. Handy clearly points out that the main character is unaware of the amount of time that has passed.

So I think that there are cryo-pods that have been stolen/emptied before, including those of spouse and child and the hero is done with chewing bubblegum.

Why does Fallout 4 look almost exactly the same as Fallout 3? Despite it being released 6 years later? Dammit Fallout, I want to like you, but you continue to dissapoint me.

What do you mean? Those graphics look plenty fine to me, especially considering it's a huge open world rpg. But to each his own I guess!

Disregard that. I've entered dumb mode for a second. F4 looks a lot better. Still need to finish even ONE Fallout tough...

The Total War series is all 75% of this weekend. I remember a lot of problems with the last one when it first came out. Any worth picking up now?

Attila is honestly not bad for a Warscape title. I'd rate it better than Shogun 2 but that is more preference of setting. The only caveat is that the Celtic DLC is basically a must buy since you can't play as them otherwise and they are at least a more developed DLC faction from game mechanics and unit design. The proto-Vikings are a pseudo-Saxon faction and the langobard one just more and not very different central germanics. Though I notice it is not as discounted as the rest but if you had a Total War itch it is better than R2 though twice the cost currently.

Excuse, excuses; the Wii U can handle AC3 and AC: Black Flag at full detail and frame rates, but we didn't get Unity, OR Syndicate!! :-(

Sega isn't much better TBH. I still remember Super Smash Bros with fondness.

Yeah, it was pretty shortsighted of nintendo to embrace sub-par graphics. But I think the reall problem was the lack of good games on the system. I mean, there was Resident Evil 4 (which was amazing), and Xenoblade Chronicles. I struggle to think of anything else. The best Zelda game available on wii is still Ocarina of Time...

On a slightly OT note, where should I post a thread about people's reaction to the 'Age of Sigmar' teaser pics....?

You want to do a reaction video thread, like people did with 2 girls 1 cup or the Red Wedding in Game of Thrones? Both are probably good examples of how people would react.

MArio Galaxy 1 and 2 were fantastic.

There was enough for Wii that I felt like I still wanted one, as well as my main console.

for wii-u there is like... literally nothing AT all to make me buy it.

New marion, new zelda, new xenoblade. Then I might buy one for £100 or something.
