I'm still pretty much only playing FIFA 15.

How's your FIFA playing going, Finlay?

do you remember when GoG got tie fighter and xwing but they were a tiny bit expensive?

humble bundle! https://www.humblebundle.com/star-wars

unfortunately I think i've got all of these that i'd want to play.

Wiss, I still dont like the new transfer system. It's way harder to find OP young players and regens.

Having said that, I made a really good Stoke team. They have a good base to start with, Bojan, Arnautovic, Shaqiri are good irl and on the game. Mame Biram Diouf is really good in the game!

then I bought quite good, but going to improve, youngsters. Youri Tielemans, Riechedly Bazoer in midfield. Anwar El ghazi and julian brandt off the bench/developing behind shaqiri and arnautovic.
Breel Donald Embolo and Kelechi Iheanacho up front- who are both absolute beasts. I think Kelechi starts at like 68 overall, so definitely recomend to buy him cheap if you ever get fifa 16!

I don't care about the rules.

Once I got used to it I actually really like the transfer system.  I don't generally like playing with FIFA standards but finding my own diamonds in the rough. Part of my problem is I'm a mega nerd and I follow a couple of YouTubers play FIFA and seeing them play with the same guys over and over makes me want to find my own.

I've seen FIFA 16 game play and like the pre-season tournaments for more money and the training.  Would like those opportunities.

thats what I liked about the old scheme, it was easier to get good FAs and regens, rather than just buying the same good teenagers.

Ya, I can see that.  Sounds like you built a good team, though, with Stoke.

If they were shit but had a few good youngsters I could cope, but the cupboard is bare.

The year we had that Sordell kid, I got him to high 70s then sold him for like 30 million to real Madrid. Haha.

Already out. By the way, anybody here have GOG? I have a copy of System Shock 2 to give away.
Nope, the enhanced edition is out but they are going to do a full blown remake and possibly system shock 3.

Initial thoughts on Battlefleet Gothic: Armada.  Well... it's OK, if you like RTS games, but frankly it isn't really Battlefleet Gothic except in looks.  Way too much non-canon extras added in to please the RTS twitch gamer crowd - like long ranged plasma bombs or stasis bombs, or instant recharge on a nearby friendly's void shields, or mini teleports a small distance away... I mean I don't hate the game but they could have at least tried to keep it faithful to the source material.

EDIT: Oh, also, in the current beta at least, there's no such thing as a quick pickup game.  You want a 1,500 point fleet engagement?  Well, prepare to grind through a hundred or so smaller battles before you are allowed to do so.  I can only hope that's a thing that will be fixed in the full release.

Wait, so they've added instant perks? Are there microtransactions in there as well?

Hm. Some things work well as a direct conversion to PC, some things probably wouldn't. Bloodbowl is in the former camp, and I think BFG in the latter. I don't mind whatsoever if some non canon stuff is in there, as long as it's thematically appropriate. After all, GW throw into the background whatever the hell they feel like at the moment on a regular basis.

Yeah, it's RTS, but there is a pause function where you can give orders, isn't there? As well as engine speed settings, special maneuvers, crew and commander skills and stuff. I haven't played it yet (going to wait for release), but I have followed it, and to me it looks to be rather in depth, with a decent AI and gameplay that I certainly wouldn't describe as "twitchy", unless you apply that term to anything that isn't turn based.

Definitely looking forward to it, I hope they get the kinks ironed out before release.

Really enjoying SFV.

Don't bother if you want to play single player though.

The Division is quite good.

Hitman 47 is awesome, but I loath the episodic format.  I want my levels and my story!

Enemies take too much time to drop. Sidequests are repeatitive. Other than that, I'm seriously considering buying a new PC for that game alone.

Only the bosses function as bullet sponges.  You can spec your character to emphasis damage and most enemies who are your level or less will evaporate.  Bosses take a ridiculous amount of damage.

So the game is like a less interesting version of Destiny.  I prefer a straight sci fi experience.  There is a lot of corny stuff in Division, but the real world weapons and the look of a ruined NY is cool.  The team structure and everything are fun in Division too.
