Still need feedback on which photos are better...

Anyway, I finished the last touches on my swordsmen:

This guy dosn't balance on his own...

Pretty standard here but all the models have been made from a mix of old troops, a few new and militia as well as positioned so that the shields are up as if to protect from missles.

Also bulked up my knights to a unit of 10, here is a one of the new models I used (and yes they are not GW):

Some feedback on what photo style would still be very useful (see previous posts)

Any comments and criticisms with any of the painting will also be of great help and be considered when painting my halberdiers. Give 'em hell

I like the head swap on the greatsword captain.

I'm not a big fan of the original head, and I'm contemplating giving mine a redo because of your model.

I think the lighter of the two photos is better, yet if there was a way to eliminate some of the glare in a fewer of the brighter photos, that might a be an improvement.

By the way, not sure what KF is suppose to look like, so even if your KF on foot doesn't, then my troops wouldn't likely know anyway.

By the way ... I like the knight you used, and wondering where you got that one?

Try putting some on your palette and leaving it for a few mins to dry...should thicken up a bit to produce better dry brushing results

I'd be interested in this two if you're giving out recipes

Really nice stuff you've got going here, and you're making my decision for which region to pick very difficult, as Reikland is definitely a strong contender.

Oh, long time no posts here, should have replied to that ages ago... The white cloth is achieved using a graveyard earth basecoat and a progressive miss of white added to this. Usually 3 or 4 drybrushed layers (more carefully each time but the first 2 can be very messy and fast). I don't highlight to pure white as this makes the rest appear brown. Also I take a little more care on characters but not much. It is actually pretty fast to do in production line painting method.

The horses are good. Not so good in terms of the way the lance 'fits' (or dosn't) the hand but the rest can be fixed by a head swap.

Great stuff Valetus, but agrees with previous posts about the pics. They are a bit small and its quite hard to see the details, although the brighter pics are better.
