Still smiling at the Pleasant Surprise I received this year, and I'm very fond of all of the Surprises I've received (been involved in it since the second year.) They are usually displayed in a glass case next to my desk, though when I was playing regularly I used them all in my armies as much as possible. Not to brag, but when I was doing tournaments regularly, I won quite a few Best Painted and Players Choice awards -- so everyone who has sent me a surprise gets some credit for that.
I repainted the base edges to match my army back when I was still playing, and will eventually do that on the past two years just for consistency -- and I think I may build a diorama to display them on.
At any rate, since I just received the 2014 Surprise, I thought I would take them all out and get a group shot (one year AWOL -- my sender disappeared in year 5.) I thought maybe others would be interested in following suit with a "Show Us..." thread... Maybe?
