I started painting this units after Xmas when I got the reinforcement box set. I have  to thank BAWTRM for the shields and richard de clare for the Pistolier heads.  :::cheers:::

I love the shields. Feathers could get some more shading/highlighting.
Overall a great job !

As promised : Averlaaand!!!
Very nice use of seperate empire sprues, the helmet on the musician is a nice touch and the shields that they wear on their backs are not too shabby either! The pistolier heads make them look tougher, which is cool.. but absolutely not the truth as i've experienced last friday..  :unsure:

Paintjob's a good one, but I think if you gave the feathers one last highlight they would look even better.
Still.. superb painting.. :D

When I first read the title I thought you had converted a farmers army in Averland colors. but I was wrong

Not yet, I currently working on a militia detachment for the spearmen I will post them here when I have done the front rank. I must warn you that I'm a slow painter.

I've been able to get on with this a bit quicker than planned  :icon_biggrin:. I Must admit that I'm pleased with how they have come out.

@ Dino!: The yellow I use for my state troops is the foundation paint Iyanden Darksun which is really easy to use.
