first is my captain, cousin of Wolfram Hertwig; Rudiger Von Meinstadt Baronschwartzher (the red baron!)
he is made out of spare bits and green stuff.

here he is with my RUBBISH knights(they keep dying). they have now been painted red like Baron's horse barding

great cannon

master engineer

greatswords

Ulric warrior priest (teutogen guard)

he was also my first decent attempt at non metallic silver and gold

still very WIP hangunners

59 halberds

with bsb

free company

scratch built steam tank

I know that the picture quality is poor, and i have a shaky hand, so i will try and get better ones later on.
please comment and criticise!

I see real promise here. The first thing that jumps out at me as needing improvement is finishing your bases/movement trays. that will raise the overall quality of your models immeasurably.

hope to see more soon !

I just got the new book today, and on a completely different subject, where in the empire is Bogenhafen?

« Reply #10 on: April 14, 2012, 06:54:43 PM »
Bogenhafen is a wealthy market town in Reikland. On the edge of the Reikwald Forest, it's fairly central as far as Reikland goes  :-)

The town is dominated by the rich local merchants and the twon colours are white and purple, so I guess they're pretty ostentatious.

A good place to look for into is the early 90's Enemy Within books - Shadows Over Bogenhafen  :icon_biggrin:

Must be online somewhere, all my Empire fluff is based on Bogenhafen and this site itself has some interesting info. Tiny's blog has some pretty sick looking models as well.

actually, I have decided that bogenhafen dosen't really fit in with the background of my army. pity though, its a nice looking theme(even if it looks just like ostermark!) :icon_mrgreen:

Make up your own province or town or whatever; paint it however you like.

i have, but i need to write it up properley.
basically, they are a select few soldiers from ostermark, who work on the border of kislev-ostermark helping to prevent intruders.
they are neglected from the Empire most of the time, but occasionally get some reinforcements

so your selling a not finished army to fund another one that doesnt even have current rules or minis???
Then make three times that. It should be enough for half the roof Glue
You could certainly amass quite a collection of testicles

Good luck on selling them. Mantic also have nice selection of Chaos dwarfs, albeit not so finely sculpted as the Forge world ones.

I play with non gw figs in a GW. They normally don't say anything if your just playing a friend but if you are doing a tournement or any of their events or just stop by for a pick up game with a random person they normally say not to use them.

Well, your GW is much less strict about that then...

They do say it has to have at least 50% GW stuff on it though...
