That would be a winning plan for me- save a bit of time on the detour to Midaski's, with the ease of train connection from exeter-FR1DAYS

Obviously as a non-driver I will acquiesce to the drivers!

I'll be leaving from Breda.
So anybody needing a ride from Rotterdam onwards can ride along with me.

If they're blonde, female, under 30 and nude I'll even pick them up in Groningen.

A drive from Rotterdam would be great. I'd be leaving from Leiden but if I could drive along that be great. plus there is less chance I'd loose my army again....

Sorry Shav though, I'm not nude, nor female. I am below 30 though ;)

We'll work out the details (your sex change and undressing) closer to the date.
But I can certainly pick you up in Rotterdam.

I might not be around here so much as of late, and I had/got some issues going in my personal life..

But I checked my schedule, and it seems that weekend is the first of our May holiday which I need to take off half anyway. So I'll be around for my second edition!

I'll drive by myself with a bigger car then last year so I can take another 3 (maybe 4 if you like to be cramped in on the backseat) with me. I'll be driving down from Leeuwarden (The Netherlands), so people from Groningen or around I can pick up aswell and don't have to be nude, a girl and under 30.. though it would give you some bonus points and extra attention!  :biggriin:

edit:
As it stands now: arrival on friday late afternoon / early evening. departure either during the day on tuesday or early in the evening.
So that will be for 4 nights.

So how's this working then? Are we expected to make our own way? Over-night ferry from Hull makes sood sense for me but will need to sort out tickets. Is it just a case of come along if you fancy or is there some organisation going on?

At first it's up to yourself to get there yes, but along the way some groups form up that travel with eachother and that make arrangements for the trip together. Just keep following the various threads about this and PM some guys from your region if you can tag along or ask how they are planning the trip.
As you arrive you can call up to the Warhammer God and he will make sure you will get to the right place :)

I think we are waiting for february for people to commit, then move on with plans from there.

The general plan has been meet up at folkestone and get the ferry to calais, and drive from there.

ok, the general plan has been to meet at Midaskis, then drive to folkestone and so on.

But if we have two cars it might be meeting at folkstone.

No one mentioned the ferry before!

Though that's what we did the time we went to the Dutch GT.

Actually, doesn't the ferry go from Dover?

eurotunnel = folkstone - Calais
Ferry = Dover - Calais or Ramsgate - Oostende or Dover - Duinkerke

Really? So many sassanachs attending?
I really gotta get my dwarven army into shape then. It would be very painful indeed to lose from someone South of the border.

Does anyone have a German football shirt to lend me... just so that when I'm playing an English puss, I can torment them?

No I didn't  - forthelady and I have had some personal communication and he is unable to attend as he has the opportunity to work that weekend.

@ratarsed
How easy is the Hull ferry ....... and what sort of cost?

We normally go eurotunnel mainly based on being in the South East and you can get reduced prices with Tesco clubcard vouchers.  :engel:

So you could drive down here and stay overnight, or go on the Hull route - and maybe rufus would find that attractive from Sheffield

I was rather hoping we might have had some response from the Yorkshire mafia, Padre Uryens, Damo and Volks, and maybe even Chumley as well.

If there is a contingent from north of Watford then travel arrangements may be altered.

There was possible talk of hiring a minibus if the numbers were more than 6/7 - shared cost - easier transport in the evenings around St Niklaas.

I am sorry to say it, but I must announce that I am definitely not attending. While I immensely enjoyed the last event (and the one before that), I cannot really balance my time schedule (this is relevant to my off days, not to date of the Bash).

It seems that a lot of people are attending. I hope this season will be at least as good as the previous ones. Have fun guys.

Bedevere
