Twin Peaks season 3 is a "go", but there hadbeen ongoing problems. At some point, David Lynch was booted or withdrew from the project because of disagreements with the studio, with much of the cast threatening to walk if he didn't return. Seems like everything was resolved, though. First screenshots:

Very weird to see all of these characters, who I've seen countless times on screen, frozen as they were 25 years ago, aged so much.

And yes, Padre, very much agree that Twin Peaks may well be the greatest television ever made.

wow seeing the screen shots is so cool but seeing how they have aged is sort of weird. Speaking of I just finished the episode where they go into owl cave and you are right its still good, but there are a few characters I'm not liking.

Yeah, for sure. I definitely still love it to the bitter end. But you're absolutely right that, following the resolution of the Laura Palmer/Bob plotline, it loses a lot of focus. Wyndham Earle is also a character who seems fascinating and terrifying the way that Cooper talks about him, but pretty underwhelming in his actual depiction.

The last episode - particularly the sequence in the Black Lodge - is an absolute tour de force, though.

This song still gives me chills!

So I started watching the UK show about folks living in the city and wanting to move to the country. Good grief housing in the UK is expensive!!! Is this true or is it just certain areas in the country? most counties are in the south. Also, some of these cottages are older than the US which makes me think just how young a nation we are, lol

I think I'm going to watch season 1 of True Detective, one more time. This show's glorious.

Season 1 was amazing; some of the best TV I've ever watched. Season 2? Acting was great, characters were great, but I've never seen a more convoluted plot in my life. Seriously, you needed a flow chart to maintain who was who and what was going on.
So, what would you guys do if some dude came at you with a belt that way?

I've been watching person of interest lately. I like the lead characters in it (mostly played pretty dry) and the over arching plot. Didn't really expect to like it with it coming out amongst the chain of dodgy stuff that has come out recently.

Yeah, I've heard that about season 2. Still gonna watch it, even for the cast alone. I'm so glad that they'll make season 3. :smile2:

Did anyone watch Legion? I'm not sure how I feel about the final episode. Not enough resolution really.

New season of Trail park Boys out today, the first back on Netflix was quite good the other two since not so much, this one so far seems like the writing has improved again.

Watching season 6 of GoT. I know it has its own thread, but want to avoid spoliers.

Im watching taboo,
The show is intriguing, bit slow here and there but it looks great and Tom Hardy is awesome.
