It leaves a disrespectful, sour taste in my mouth.

I do agree with that.  It doesn't flow well and it does seem like a purposeful 'hit job'.
Me and Wissenlander had babies!

not together.

finding photographic evidense that Wiss smiles is going to be hard...

You know, just thinking about it...What if Kylo was just gaslighting Rey that her parents were junkers?  Its something she always assumed but never accepted, when really they were Imperials trying to scavenge some sort of plans/data for the Empire Remnant undercover and were killed.  They left her with the fat junker dude as they went to go meet an informant that killed them on behalf of the New Republic.

I doubt it, just using my imagination.

It's also canon that Luke Skywalker survived on green titty milk from a semi-humanoid space walrus.

Yeah, he did. While living on a desolate rock, cutting himself off from the force, and befriending judgmental fish nuns. Amazing.
CannonofDoom spews his shit at me all the time and I haven't banned him.

Why are the fish nuns so judgemental?
I just thought they were a little grumpy.

He loved blue milk back on Tatooine. Once you go Green...
I dont understand why so many people have a problem with that scene.

Look, forget about all that and lets focus on this;

Is this an option!? Why did no one tell me! What company should I be contacting? I've got a sweet essay on how Yoda should replace Gandalf and Neo should be Frodo in an alternate Lord of the Rings. Not to mention the shipping! Oh the shipping.

Why are the fish nuns so judgemental?
Are not most nuns judgmental?  Stereotypically, of course. :engel:

After the set pieces and hype, its kinda empty and doesn’t change the status quo at all really from the previous. Luke and snoak are dead. Thats about it thats different.

So I just watched this on Netflix, twice, once sober and once drunk (which by old Persian adages should allow me the best frame of reference on it). I give it a meh minus. Which in other words I'd say I am actively annoyed by it. I thought the construction of the last movie was bad, in that I don't fully understand the world in which Star Wars exists at the moment, this made it worse. So as best I can tell this is what maybe a week after Starkiller base is destroyed how is the First Order in charge again. I mean to me it seems the Republic is a more loathsome form of government then Space Fascist at this point, at least to the galaxy at large. Old Republic has troubles but can't raise the people to care and get a clone army becomes fascist Empire with some spunky rebels. Empire overthrown and 30 years later no one cares, sure the new capital was destroyed but who has their entire fleet there. It just seems most folk are fine with the space fascists and at this point that Senate  is way to much work. Why does anyone stay on with the resistance, just go live at the edge of the outer rim where they won't get to you and be done with it, the average person doesn't care.

Yep.
Most recent trilogy has no scale.

Absolutely absurd trilogy.  25,000 Star destroyers at the peak of the Empire.  Apparently there are only like 8 ships in the new series or something...

My biggest complaint about the new trilogy is the sense of scale.  Its small. Like tiny. The original felt large, the prequel felt a little constrained, but the new trilogy just feels small.
