Looks good, nice to see the Dogs of War and Kislev figures.

You have a lovely taste in miniatures. :smile2: great looking army :biggriin:

Agreed! Great classic models, and well painted. That army has to have some heft to it!

They look outstanding, the paint job is super crisp. Are you planning on doing more? These fellows would look magnificent 20 strong.

Hi Doc,
I agree that more figures would look better but, I won't be adding to it any time soon as I only have the 5 in the picture and with the Ebay scalpers wanting upwards of £15 for a single figure I won't be buying anymore soon

Is there any possibility of converting standard knights? I think your painting skill would carry them nicely with very little conversion.
-
love these knights, some of my favorites :::cheers:::

Yes I have thought about using Knights from different manufactures, Foundry do some great Perry Gendarmes, and there's a relatively new company who also do Gendarmes, but I'm not looking to buy anything new for the time being, not until I finished painting what I've got.
Thanks zak

Perry miniatures plastic knights should come very close to these in terms of armour style.
Or the regular plastic knights from GW, using the knights panther heads without the panther heraldry. The Knights Panther helmet designs are based on the sallet, just like the Venator helmets.

Thanks for the tip but I'm not looking to buy anything just yet at least until I make a hole in the pile of shame

Just convert some battle masters

Simply amazing Steve! Lovely classic schemes for the Dogs of War superb models. I especially like the extended movement trays for pikemen regiments, this is a good point that I will take into account when painting mine - someday :-P But there is a particularly long space with only sand. Have you thought about adding some "eye-candy" to these ones? Like potential attackers killed, wounded pikemen, battle remains and looting... just some ideas.

Cool army! I love the models you've used! :eusa_clap:
