Personally I like either Eighty's list (To see what we can do with all the infantry, especially those units of flagellants ) or grifter's list, as the big unit of handgunner's led by the captain sounds very fun to try out  :smile2:

My favoured opponents would be either TK or Vamps, I fancy playing some undead  :smile2:

I like Grifter's list very much. I was actually looking to make something similar but he beat me to it so I'm just going to back him on this.  :-D

I think eighty's list would be fun and good to see. I do wonder if there is a way to fit in a cannon though.

Ok, everyone has a list of my models.  Let's leave the list building options open until like Wednesday morning and I'll go ahead and summarize them for voting.

Regarding the mechanics, I'll probably duplicate the "split" threads for the opposing Generals.  I think having one or two "Leads" for each side is probably best.

After the lists are built and up for vote, I'll unveil the map.

Stay tuned for Wood Elf and Vampire Counts model availability.  I'll give you an overview of the Orc/Gobbos available as well as TK (assuming they are done by mid-January).

With those models, I suggest we beat up on some Wood Elves. I think they can make a more challenging list than Vampire Counts and they're something I've never faced before since they don't exist around these parts.

Methinks that with his penchant for Wood Elves and the models he has available for Vampire Counts, one of Noght's biggest joys is frustrating his opponent. I'm a little disappointed at the lack of normal Wraiths and Glade Riders though.

I'll try doing up an MMU list for Empire in the next day or two. One of my usual crazy, seemingly inefficient lists.

As opposed to Banshees and Hex Wraiths.

I've always found Glade Riders annoying.

Updated.  My buddy can loan me up to 40 Crypt Ghouls.  FYI.  Changed it on the VC model list.

Really not enthused by playing Wood Elves - I think it would be fairly disadvantageous to the Wood Elves, and if we were facing/running an avoidance list, it would be boring as sin to play in this format.

I would be up for fighting OnG certainly - they are a fairly hard army, and have lots of fun (if unpredictable) toys.

Is proxying going to be done with only 16 Savages?
Check the Imperial Office to read my Warhammer vignettes - all feedback gratefully received.

I have been wanting to fight VC in a TDG for awhile.

It still holds my vote.  Especially if you can get the 40 Ghouls from your bro.

I'll add my vote to this. We can play O&G again with a proper list after a short break from them methinks, so we can use it to illustrate points in the tactica.

Happy New Year folks!

I'd love to play some Wood Elves. It's to bad you don't have more Waywatchers, then we could have played with my tournament build. But if we run your warhawks as Nobles on Eagles we can do this build thats not far off. Here you have the kings of MSU! All about controlling the game and what fights it's going to take :)

Highborn: General, Bow of Loren, Arcane Bodkins.
Spellweaver: lvl4(Lore of Beasts), Dispel Scroll, Moonstone of the Hidden Ways.

Noble: GW, la, Shield, Helm of the Hunt, Stone of the Crystal Mere.
Noble: GW, la, Shield, Dragonhelm, Potion of Foolhardiness, Amaranthine Brooch, Great Eagle.
Noble: GW, la, Charmed Shield, Stone of Rebirth, The Other Tricksters Shard, Great Eagle.

8 Dryads.
8 Dryads.
8 Dryads.
12 Glade Guard: Musician, Banner of the Eternal Flame.
10 Glade Guard: Musician.
10 Glade Guard: Musician.
10 Glade Guard: Musician.
7 Wardancers: Musician.
7 Wardancers.
Great Eagle.

5 Waywatchers.

I'll +1 to the VCs, too.

Also, +1 to the thanking noght for being prepared to run this thing!

Since Wood Elves are my second favorite army after Empire, I´ll vote for them. I´d be excited to be on the Wood Elf team if my Empire list isn´t selected (and kinda scared if it is and we´re going up against WE´s  :-D ).

Ok, tonight after work I'll start looking at the counts for potential opposition.

Additionally, I'd like a few more lists before I open the voting.

Thoughts:
  • I'll post a sample of the Dice Log soon.
  • I think I'll set up 3 threads:  A picture/Chronicler/Dice Log thread and a strategy thread for each team.
  • If you know for sure you want in on the Opposing Force leadership, let me know.
  • I'll post the map soon/
