Topic: "nice" Tournament List 2000 Points

Hi ou there,

here is my attempt of playing an infantry-empire-army:

EC, Great Weapon, AoMI, VHS
Captain, Pegasus, Plate Armour, ES, SoM, Pistol
Wizard, 2 DS


2x 5 Knightly Order
2x 24 Swordsmen, FC, 1x 10 FC, 1x12 FC, 2x5 Bowmen
24 Halberdiers, Shield, FC, Warbanner, 12 FC, 5 Bowmen
5 Hunter
10 Handgunners, 5 FC

2 Canons

1 Volley Gun

This list is aimed for playing in a nice list enviroment at a tournament in september.

The halberdiers are swordmen replacements as I can´t be bothered painting 3 units of swordmen even if they are better.

Any major mistakes?

Would you field something different?


Edit 1: Exchanged the IoM for 5 FC for the Handgunners and another one for the now 10 FC detachement. How could that happen?

That's actually a very nice list. There's only one major problem:

EC, Great Weapon, AoMI, VHS, IoM

You have two items from the same catagory - the icon and the speculum. You will have to drop one of them.


Otherwise it is a very viable list, and should do fine.
