 Wow that is impressive! From now on when my wife comments on how many figures I have I will just point her to this thread. (You may have just saved my marriage! lol)

I hope it helps your marriage, it sure isn't doing a lot for mine. "you need to put away your toys and grow up" is a phrase that I hear a lot.  She doesn't realise what an important avenue of expression and escape this is for me, and I don't have the words to explain it to her.  steveb

Have you shown her this?

I kind of imagine Steveb looking like Peter Cushing. Painter's smock, ascot and all.

Did you also watch that video of Peter Cushing painting his figures and then playing with them on the floor?

I have to admit defeat ................  :engel:

You must do a model count steveb before you put them away.

Yep, I second the model count.

I went back to view that video this morning.  It mentions that people that most of the people who play are "distingished".  Yep, certainly includes steveb.

Not sure that comment would work on his wife, particularly since the video includes the comment about "intelligent girls" playing, too.  My lady friend doesn't give me a hard time, she doesn't play, and she's intelligent anyway, so she'd likely put it into the context of its time and place, but some ladies likely won't.

Sweet Jesus. If we adopt 023's method and assume an average of 20 points per model (which is propably too low) that's almost 14.000 points of cavalry.

I like that.

Woah.

Lol, I like in the Cushing film how he just sparks up a ciggy at the end.
I for one welcome our new flying cat overlords.

Good God man, how much have you spent on knights alone?
What man is a man who does not make the world better? When you stand before God you can not say, "But i was told by others to do thus," or that "Virtue was not convenient at the time." This will not suffice.

Wow, I thought I had a lot, but that's bigger than my entire army, and it's just knights.  And they're all painted. At best I've got 25 painted, 120 total.

I'd love to see your entire army laid out, but I'm guessing you don't have anywhere near enough table space
