My General
I used a high elf archer sword arm, a militia pistol arm, filed down an other militia pistol, knight sheath, bertonian archer head, wood elf cape, militia legs, and a plastic toy cowboy body. Don't know the editions.

Kit bashing from Knights sprue, greatswords( left torso and right head), state troops,  pistoliers, 6.editon legs ( the left guy),. I will use them for unit champions for swordmen and helebardiers.

These are my two absolute favourite models in my Empire army.

My scratch-built captain, Michael von Königsbach and master engineer, Klas Hosenträger.
Michael's arms and legs are from the Archers box, head is from the Greatswords, the torso is from the old State Troops and the cloak is from the Empire Generals box. His hood was sculpted from green stuff.
Klas' legs and torso are from the old State Troops, his book is from the Wizards box, and his pointing arm is from the Greatswords. (Not sure where I got the head from...)

I just love these guys, because I'm really satisfied with the poses, and how the bits fit together.
Is the grave too deep? Then take a sip,
Raise the brimming goblet to thy lip!
Yet a sip! Ditto one, ditto two, ditto three….
Then die contentedly.

I remember seeing an army made in 18th century style, anyone remembers it and/or got any images of it?

yes, if I can find them. In th mean time I have many favorite conversions but I am especially fond of this one made from an old Altdorf halbadier. The original is on the left just in case you don't know what they looked like, they were a one piece figure with attachable shield, Mine is the capt of a halbadier regiment of all converted Altdorf figures.

This thread inspired me with an idea for another "Show us your..." threads.

Show us your "old models" ... I know there are a lot of old gits here like me.

The possibilities for kitbashing are nearly endless. Here I have someof  the 6th edition state troopers, mixed with the current version state troops, greatswords, archers and pistoliers.

My knights of the sacred Scythe. Standard Knights with zombie scythes, a general of the empire and the champion with the wizard scythe.

When I'm done with my war altar I'll post that here. I like my pistoliers, but don't have pictures of those. So I'll show you one of my greatest conversions that has something to do with an Empire of a different kind.

Painting was done approx. 4 years ago, so it's thick.

Ah, yes the jetbikes from Starwars. Nice, but I think you should lift a model a bit, as it hoovers above the ground.

These have been posted before so I apologise if people are bored of them

Master Engineer

Greatsword head, archer body, handgunner champ arms

Swordsmen detachment

6th edition state troops shields, a mixture of greatswords, state troops, knights, free company and archer bits

Warrior Priest

Flagellant body and head, knights arms, greenstuff chestplate and iron halo thing

A Murder In Marienburg

I was very pleased with myself when I made this. Not so much now! Its meant to depict a night watchman finding a murdered body.
State troop head and various Moordheim bits if I remember correctly.

That'actually the angle, now that you mention it- I stuck it on a piece of plastic that now appears to be a patch of grass. But I think a little more heigt won't do it injustice, though... .Mhm... I've got to get working on that.

I love that guy! :biggriin:
I have always imagined him snickering behind the screen, over how utterly brilliant his camouflage is.

@Weilyn As far as I remember that must be an arm out of the current empire archers box. The head was taken from the 6th edition state troops.
