wow, that horde is inspiring to look at. :eusa_clap:

those are from the latest plastic kit , aren't  they? They are great, just a small note: you could insert some small objects to the frontal bases,  like rocks, broken weapons, animal skull, it would look more animated.

edit: I see now that you did already, maybe just accentuate them more, so they are more visible.

One of the big wigs... once told them "If a household doesn't have an income of $70,000, we don't consider them a GW target customer."

Darius,

Indeed - about half the unit is from the new boxed set.

I think I will add more litter on the bases as you suggested. Thanks.

A unit of plague monks using mainly the current plastic figures, the crew figures from the Plague Furnace set, and three old Marauder metal plague monks (or more accurately: Chaos Ratmen):

I like how you're getting bright colours on your skaven while still keeping them tattered and dirty. And it's nice to see the models mixed together like that, the old favourites still fit really well with the new stuff.  :eusa_clap:

Oh, those are great, and so simple! I keep planing to design and print counters, but those are way cooler.

In retrospect I could have made 3-D markers with the White Wolf arms, but I suppose those are prone to breakage.

I saw this done one time where some one created a marker for each spell that his wizards used, he like to put them beside the wizard so he could remember who cast it etc.  steveb

Claymore Castings. My pikemen are from them too. More Bretonnian than Empire, and small compared to GW figures, but very nice.

I also do some WW2 wargaming, and here is my first attempt at salt weathering:

Hopefully the recipient of my Pleasant Surprise this year needs something that I can use salt weathering on...

SHeet nice !

What is your background in the cam shots , grey paper card or something ?

Ask yourself , what is real? 5 sense filtered reality is a very limited perspective.

It's been more than a year since I painted anything for my Empire army, but this weekend I finished the last 12 figures I bought for the army and I consider the army complete.

There are some mounted crossbowmen (counts as pistoliers)

and some light lancers and command figures.

And here's a shot of all the figures I painted for the army, not all of which fit the Empire army list.
