The van Dwi family has been around for a very long time and so have deverged and spilt makeing new familys and sects

The Pure Bloods:
The Pure Bloods are the smallest but most powerful part of the van Dwi family. They are the closest related to Dob and the First and are eather born in the richest parts of the Merchant Cuarter in Marienburg or in Commerico and rule and live there and are often seen in the only the most cutting edege clothing, weapons and homes though they are considered to be bullish snobs by the Kinships and lesser van Dwi's.
That said they have bred some of the most worthy van Dwis, Merchant Lords, leaders, poets and warriors and so on

The Half Bloods:
A rather vile name the evil Horst thought of to name all van Dwis who are not a pure as they could be. These men and woman and deverged slightly from the core but are still primarly van Dwi blood.
These folk are often low class merchants and warriors and are not in polotics or even high class.
They are often seen all over doing everything and pretty well liveing everywhere and in any state of life be it poor or rich

This term is used to disribe the von Arvanheart family who are the black sheep of the family. Many have been warlocks, necromancers and thier most note worthy member; Agustus, is a vile Necrarch vampire though he is no longer part of the von Arvanhearts due to obvious reasons.
Other than the fact that they are known to be notoriously inbred due to haveing a deep paranoia of haveing power outside the family, all that is known of them is that they have a three migerly fortafied manor houses and an larg fort like estate on the Sylvanian/Striland border and lord over thier serfs with an iorn fist.
Due to thier inbreding many are deformed with hunch baks and club feet are are reviled becouse of it and are rarely seen, though there have been, of late, a number of the un-defromed or the least deformed leading small armys in the Striland State Army

Patriarch Armond von Arvanheart
The youngest Patrairach to date at age 41 Armond, like most of the von Arvanhearts, has bolth Strilander and Sylvanian blood and is inbred like most of them haveing a very slight hunch back and three of the toes of his right foot are fused together and rules the family with the same iorn fist that they use on the serfs
That said he is a very healthy man and has often lead Striland's armys to battle on more than once.
A devout Morrite, he allways wheres black and has even been nicknamed "Morr's General" and is well known for the runed sickle blade named "Maggot Feeder" gifted to him by the Temple of Morr
Agustus von Arvanheart
After being thrown out of him family home for reasons unknown, Agustus was once one of the best medical reachers in the Empire but after many years he begain to become a rather insane man and more often then not worked on the dead rather than the liveing. It is rumered that he begain to dabble with necromancy at this time but one one knows for sure as he dissapeared soon after
Yeas later in 2434 he resurfaced as Subodable, a vile Necrarch vampire and begin to bring forth his legions of undead to crush the the family that had thrown him out.
The von Arvanhearts pushed back with a massive army that was soon crushed. In one last battle Patriacrch Markov von Arvanheart III unleashed one last force of Morish priets, knights and death wizards at Agustus and all most distoryed him and was allmost cut down at the last moment but managed to buy enough time of the priests and wizrads to fight Agustus power. As Agustus' power begain to fail he cursed the family with all the spite his evil heart could muster and fled the battle field never to be seen again untill 2525 though it was only a glimps threw the threes around the von Arvanheart estate
Frankland van Arvanheart
As a young man in his early 20s, Frankland is Armond's son and is the most defromed to ever be part of the family. A heavy hunched back, clubed right foot and a slightly lop sided face have made Franklund a very angry man and he often takes this anger out of his people and often has his guards, or himself when he feels like, beat and exacute any serfs for even the slightest causes.
Elke von Arvanheart
Elke is one of th Empire's most skilled Death Wizards and has a vast and heavly decorated war record.
A darkly beautiful young woman in her mid to late 20 has atracted many young men but all have been driven off by her bleakness and constant gallows humor
As a Death Wizard in a family that has had many necromancers she is allways watched by both the Witch Hunters, The Temple of Morr and even her masters at the Collage
Mortimer Salvarburg
Though not a von Arvanheart himself Mortimer was adopted at the age of 8 months when his mother and father died. Gustaf von Arvanheart (Armond's father) was a family friend of the Salvarburgs and took Mortimer in.
Despite being well cared for Mortimer was the boot of bolth Armond's and Otto's jokes and the two cruley attacked Mortimer with bolth words and fists and never let up that he was not an von Arvanheart by birth and instead of stopping the abuse, Gustaf let it go on, in fact he seemed to wish it happen!
As he was down troden and abused Mortimer begain to seep even fether in to a deep dark pit and soon be came a deep dark brooding soul, who only saw the grim side of things and begain to beleave life was cheap.
And in all this Gustaf looked on aproveing of his sons actions.
After a final beating at the hands of Otto the now seventeen year old Mortimer had had enough.
Stalking through the halls of The von Arvenheart estate he desnding the steps to the gate house and went in to the srounding village and sought out the forge.
It is said it was Sigmar who conviced him to pick up that forgeing hammer that night.
As he stalked back and in too Otto's room, his nose still dripping blood from his last beating, he kicked down the door and shashed his hammer in to Otto, who was in a rather enbaressing state of undress with a lady friend, who crumpled to the floor, half dead, his head allmost sundered. With Otto down and a woman screaming behind him, he sought out Armond.
He found him in his study reading
Before he could react a wild blow cought him in the chin breaking his jaw and knocking him out.
With that he set off for Gustaf.
Gustaf was redy however and had had time to grab his sword and hunt down the rampageing madman who he still did not know. Upon seeing Mortimer for the first time with his blooded hammer Gusfat froze.
It was all Mortimer needed.
He rushed in and crushed Gusfof's head beneath his hammer and proseded to pulp his adoptive father's body.
At last he revenge complte he calmly walked from the Estate contomplating what he had done and found he did not regret it.
To this day Mortimer feels that it was Sigmar who had given him the strengh to stand up to his tormenters and the chance to repent for not doing to earlyer and to this day fights, however right or wrong, in his name forgeing hammer raised high
