Next Warhammer Legends run is going to be dragons of the Old World. If you ever missed any of the Elf dragons, nows your chance.

Is the high elf dragon just plastic with metal rider?

I always thought the wood elf dragon was a cool effort, but metal dragons like this suck. Would it be resin instead?

I don't know how their doing it now, possibly resin. My buddy use to have the High Elf one and I believe it was all metal. Rider and dragon.

Ok. I was most interested in the basic plastic dragon for potential conversions. I guess I would like a Wyvern alternative, because thats where my gap is... interesting to see these dragons though!

All of the Made to Order stuff so far has been in the same material it was last sold in.

I got these during the End Times, so Imrik and Malekith are mostly plastic dragons, with metai riders, and metal parts for head, claws and end of the tail I think.   The sisters will be all metal, apart from the wings, which will be plastic.

@Warlord
If your having trouble assembling pewter models; I suggest Sulley's Quick fix super glue. Its dirt cheap and is better than GW's super glue

Yeah, I have been using Shelley's for years.
They make a nice little 5m pippet that reseals really well, and lasts well too... available at Bunnings :)

My main dragon I take issue with is the old Metal Chaos Dragon with 2 heads - that thing was horrible to assemble and keep assembled.

Yes; that was the downside to the larger pewter models; they were more often then not tricky to keep together.
The elf dragon I scored at the swap meet is the plastic one from 2008/9. Problem is not only are his wings broken but the previous owner tried to paint him using house paint and texta pens. I plan on repainting him into that Dogs of war Elf dragon prince guy [Asernal I think his name is]

Regret selling my Asarnil model years ago... rarely tempted by anything GW produce these days, but I'm astounded to find these are priced pretty well. If you've ever tried buying the Sisters of Twilight on ebay then £36 is a bargain!

Next wave of made to order stuff is a whack of Brets and Empire. Their calling it the Champions of Justice and Order. Order starts Saturday September 8th.

Not only will the models be up for order, they say they'll also put a Champions of Order PDF with updated rules to use them in Age of Sigmar for narrative games.

So do we have to order those on line through their site?

And will these be in metal?

Yeah I believe it all has to be ordered through their site. None of it's going to end up in stores. Oxycutor said early in August that the models are made in whatever material they were last made in. So some might be resin, some might be metal.

Things so far have been pretty decent prices. Usually fairly close to what they cost last time they were for sale.

Really cool to see those heroes again. I'm considering getting Ludwig as I don't have a mounted BSB model. Had they brought the Mad Count back, I would get him in an instant!

EDIT: then again he would be finecast probably. Bummer!

Boo, 7th / 8th ed models is not far enough back.

That said, the Lionheart model is an excellent one, as is the Dwarf King.

I actually have the older (5th edition) Ludwig, you can buy him from me if you want.
The only good thing about 7th ed heads is that they look particularly inbred and superstitious which is perfect for Stirlanders

The prices for the empire characters are crazy. For the price of one of these, you can get 3 of the old ones on ebay.

Ouch those prices are higher then I expected. I was interested in Thorgrim but he costs almost as much as a start collecting box.
