I have recently had trouble painting metal models. I used a primer but the paint keeps scaping of the edges. Are their any ways to keep the paint on better ? Any ideas would be great.

Did you wash the model before hand? Put it in some water with a tiny amount of washing up liquid, this should break the tension on its surfaces.

You've gotta get all of the powdery stuff off for the paint to stick good.

Spray it with varnish. GW produces "Purity Seal" which is pretty decent stuff, but I've heard that Testors makes a product called "Dullcote" which is better/cheaper/both. Don't skimp on this. Varnish protects your models from the rigors of campaigning and fondling, especially metal ones!

GW don't stock Purity Seal anymore, although there might be an odd can or two in some of their shops. The only sealing coat they sell now is Ardcoat, which I personally don't like as it is high gloss.
