The beavers didn't have pelts anymore once we got to them. It was the primary reason the French even bothered setting up a colony over here. They were mad about our beavers.  :biggriin:

Sorry if this is a bit long and takes a while to get to the point. Just bear with me

Its come to my attention that stolen valour is a bit of a problem in the U.S, clowns dressing up as servicemen [often in the wrong uniform and with incorrect badges, decorations etc]. It seems a few people have in my neck of the woods have tried it too. I saw a video of a man, masquerading as a soldier at a McDonalds [I guess he'd just googled 'soldier' and pieced the uniform together from what he could find].

First hint: The man claimed he'd been at the Kapooka base [which is close to where I live] yet the McDonalds he was at was on the Gold Coast [that's a bit of a hike]
Second hint: The badge on his beret looked like the American Airborne Rangers one. And not a domestic unit
Third hint: Vague and evasive comments and responses to questions about service record

This might not seem like a 'happy' random thought but I had a good laugh at the video when I saw it. I have friends in the services and i'm sure they'll like the video when I get to show it to them.

Yep, sometimes two to tango makes a third.

I've seen a good number of dance friends get married, and then they have a kid.  Changes their involvement in dance to say the least.  I feel for ya bud.

I always wanted to have a youngster, but probably past the age where that's going to happen.

The guy I just replaced was 74 when he retired. To go home and take care of his 8 month old to his 26 year ol bride. Son of a bitch! Don’t know whether to slap him or shake his hand.

Picture 1:
Roubute Guilliman is alive again and have a project to create Primaris Marines.  they are bigger ad more anatomically correct looking than regular space marines.  The picture shows that the regular space marines are being replaced by these "chad-marines."  The regular space marine goes on the internet and complains about it the same way some people go on the internet and say they are being body shamed because they ran into someone who was fit.

Picture 2:
The Aftermath after Cadia blew up.  The floating Necron is Trazyn the infinite who tried to help the cadians and other imperial fight off Abaddon but they still lost.

I was waiting for two deliveries to arrive by mail, one from GW and one from Warlord Games. Both were taking their sweet time. Then, finally, note from the post office that a package is waiting for me. I found myself hoping it'd be the one from GW, because I know that if the Warlord delivery would fail to arrive, they'd send me a new one, but I wouldn't know about GW. Turned out it was the one from GW  :-)
