Back from a wonderful week-end with my friends from the gaming club. 

And dead tired as we stayed up till the early morning hours.

Me and firefly girl meet up for wine and desert.  Then the establishment was trying to shoo us out after I paid the bill so we wander all over DC telling stories and having fun.  We ended up in front of the White House and talking about how beautiful yet quaint it looked.  I leaned in and kissed her on the lips.  She was all bashful and then she leaned in for a second.  Through the night I found out that she really likes kissing. Not make outs (yet) just on the lips.  It has been over a year since I kissed a woman.  She was holding onto my arm the entire night as we explored more of DC. We went to the train station so we could head back to our respective homes.  I walked her to her train and we chatted some more.  She help onto my coat so I wouldnt get away and we kissed some more.  She's so bashful every time I look at her in her eyes after we kiss.  Its frekin adorable.  I teased her about it a bit.  Tonight was spectacular!

Christmas is an awesome mixture of family celebration and single activities this year. I'm looking forward to Xmas terrain building with Aldaris today followed by a 'girls only' evening tomorrow (the 'girls' ranging from the age of 25 to 76). I am really blessed and enjoy spending time with so many different kinds of people.

I'm at work on Christmas, but my family planned around my weird schedule so that I still got to spend time with them.  And, when my shift ends today, I'll be off work for vacation until January 4th!

(Also, in case anyone was wondering, I've been absent on WE for the last few weeks because I've been training a new dispatcher.  Thus, my spare time between calls is spend training the puppy, rather than watching Youtube and posting on WE.)

I've had a veeery strange eureka moment this morning. It's telling me to leave the safe ground and take a running jump off the cliff without knowing what's beneath me and whether I'll land safely.

The weather here in Germany is awful, much more like in autumn than in winter. I would have loved to go sledding with the girls. That said, we've just found the perfect alternative:
