Man, that is a crazy way to store nicely painted figs! I can't imagine doing that with my figs.

Seconded!!

If you want your miniatures to have more chance on casualty's then this is the way to get it... broken of pieces and paint chipping off is easy to be happening this way.
It's like tilting your bottle of beer to much... alcohol abuse..

Thirded!

You will save more money by buying a few cases / sheets of foam / display case vs. repairs.

I completely understand what you are trying to say and you've got the point. but, at the moment my procedure is such that i simply paint the mins and store it aside (until i have the whole showcase), and i don't use them for playing until they are all painted. i have a really special place for empire in my shelf since they deserve much more care than other armies and i can't wait to finish it so that it finds it's place in that shelf.
Thanks for the comments and your concern, but you can rest assured that,  although they are in boxes now, i really take good care of it, because i really LOVE my empire. For transport purposes (when i take them to the games), i also have an official GW case. :closed-eyes:

I like the fact that you mix so many colors in your army, but it doesn't look overdone.
One of the big wigs... once told them "If a household doesn't have an income of $70,000, we don't consider them a GW target customer."

Great looking army. I am also glad to see them escape the Box of Torment. :eusa_clap:

You appear to have 2 distinct colour schemes. Are you actually effectively combining 2 armies, or is this just the old and the new side by side?

Agreed. The variety of the shield designs are very cool!

In the future, you could try to use an as varying desing on the clothes on hte state troops, might give them more individuallity.

Keep it up!
