I'm Back! Hochland will never died  And the 9th age is maybe the best thing happened since many years.

Here is some news!

Veterans handgunners for the 9th age (mostly from old metal GW handgunners) :

Aldebrand Ludenhof, Elector Count of Hochland

Marshal with seasoned general option :

A repurgator :

Wow Im really liking this post,  the first picture in the line-up sets the tone. When I saw the size of the army I wrongly assumed anybody with an army this obnoxiously huge must be an American, then I checked Paris, France and I was even more amazed  Great army, how long has it been in the making? The veteran Handgunners are my favorite.

Alex-bbr, bbr= Bieber like Justin? Just wondering.

All in all cool army.

Haha, some of the best painted and largest armies shown in the Internet are painted & owned by Frenchmen. There sure is dedication and skill there. I guess there's a language barrier, though, which cuts a portion of communication.

Hi Doc J and thanks for you message, really motivating. Haha no, i'm not american indeed! I starded the Hobby in 2001, but I started to really build this army only in 2008. So approximatly 8 years for this result. But I have an O&G army too, same size.  :-D

Haha, I don't know if we have the largest and best painted army, I guess we can find large and fine painted army in all country. Personnaly, the best empire army painted that I never seen were here, on this forum, and give me a lot of inspiration, so you see. :) But I guess in France, yeah, we maybe have a solid "tradition" of Historical wargaming, like Napoleonic War (of course) or something like that.

But you know, my painting is not a hight level too. My painting technique are really simple. I'm just fast to paint large army, but I can't spend too much time on one single model.

If you want to learn french  :icon_mrgreen:, I share to you my original post on the french warhammer forum. There is much much more pictures, fluff and illustration for each unit of my army : http://www.warhammer-forum.com/index.php?showtopic=229682

For the next time, be ready to see more oldschool models!

Great battlefield army, such bold colours! My favourite unit is probably the axe-wielding woodsmen, very fluffy indeed. :eusa_clap:

Particularly enjoying the Ludenhof model, and the contrast of the red and green chosen here.  :icon_cool: :eusa_clap:

I don't have any Hochland Crossbowmen, because I never got any metal models.
Love them!
