I was just thinking, I do already white line my models , as a quick highlight stage,

but technically any cloth , not armour, cloth, could be treated like SENMM, highlighting up to white and down to black...

The conclusion is that if you want to really paint properly you need to take some real time lol

Are we seeing a change in perspective? No more speed painting from Chumley? :icon_wink:

Second rank onwards need proper thinking about what is reflected off their armour and shields.

It gives a weirdly cool effect. I think the unit is going to look incredible all finished up. The shields donīt really work IMO, looks more like paintings than reflections. Colored shields might even make the armor look more amazing.

The knight with the longer blonde beard looks just fantastic. I love those sculpts, always have. I'd love to see some of them with tartan to mix it up.

to me it looks like a picture of a regularly painted miniature dragged through one of this phone app artsy graphics filter. are you tricking us all, Mr. Chumley?

it's certainly flashy. now, if you are really brave you could add blood splatter on that shiny armor and risk messing it up completely  ::heretic::

Hi All,

So , again apologies for my time out, i'm building the ultimate embedded PC , arcade machine, based on the midway cabinet style, using jamma convention and authentic controls.

Phase one is done, phase 2 will add 2 more controllers to the long side , to enable a seperate parallel horizontal oriented games expperience.

The machine right now, has a player at both ends for about 70 games supporting cocktail mode, where the screen switches ends when you die , so that player 2 comes in etc, and 330 ish games for vertical oriented 1 player action ,

basicallly shoot em ups and things like pac man ,

Boots into OS in 20 seconds, straight into game menu ,

real smooth,

So what will that table work like; a stand-up arcade machine? Or a horizontal one, more like an air-hockey table....?
