Congrats on the young un'. I found the point up to walking was the easiest. Just carry around in a basket :). The feeding at night was terrible until he slept thru. 11:00 , 3:00, 6:30 rinse and repeat. The day I thought I was gonna die from sleep deprivation he slept thru and that was it. I slept till 6:00 and lifted right out of bed thinking something horrible happened and he never missed a night again :)

Without a doubt he was the best thing to happen in my life anyways.

Should have 25 phoenix guard deathstar 9th ed wh unit done by Monday for photo guys , I'm alive but had a month of broken sleep lol

Looking great. I like how you've added a skull to the Swordsmaster base!  :lol: (I reckon those bases don't come with skulls. Correct?)

Are the Swordmasters the last/current metals/resins, or from the 90's? I reckon you have both 90's and 00's models mixed in te Phoenix Guard unit.

Since my Stirland is getting finished, I dug out a small unit of HE Swordmaster myself. Will try a grim black armour on them, but unsure of the contrasting non-metal colours. Also, I think those straps at their waste are cloth, not metal.

The Swords also have 3 Marauder ones on the back row ,

They are all metal ,,

The Phoenix Guard are Marauder and GW, all Metal ,

Metal is my favourite music and models !

Yeah My High Elf 9th Age Army is quite brutal so far.

One Dragon Lord.
25 Phoenix
15 Swordmasters
20 White Lions.
3*30 Sea Guard
3*10 Queens Guard Archers.
1*Lion Chariot
3*Bolt Throwers
3* Eagles.
BSB
Wizard

Not nice to fight i tell ya !

You get rained on by 120 Arrows per turn, and 3 big bolts,

then in close combat you get a hardy brawl, with 3 units of 6*5 Sea guards , which fight 4 deep,

The Phoenix Guard with ward save 4++ just stand firm all day long, especially with razor banner

Empire might stack on Mortars, and bring a 'target saturation' list... i.e. crappy hordes of the cheapest infantry. :lol:

For some reason I like what you did with the Swordmasters more than the Phoenix Guard.  I'm not sold on the gray swords though.
