are you doing an undead army

No but i'm gonna do 10 Marauder Wights as a nice fun unit to start !

And to finish, you will have an undead army.

Ok guys, I'll hit you with this, it's a paradigm shifting update,

Firstly I had heard rumour of Marauder planning to release a unit of Wizards back in 87'.

I can see on CCM WIKI , there are some images of some, unreleased ones,  but very little is talked about online.

Here are mine!! Secured with the Queens finest English pounds.

Thanks for this picture, it convinced me to buy these models re-released by Warmonger Miniatures (https://warmongerminiatures.myshopify.com/collections/ex-citadel/products/time-warped-wizards-pre-order ).
Question: from the references we can read on the slots, MU1, MU3, MU6, MU7 and MU9, at least 5 references are missing. Have you been able to identify them? Do you think they include the other 2 wizard models sold by Warmonger?

Guys , i cant get my head around GW using plastic/resin for all their models, i hate it.

It's like expensive baby toys, plastic rubbish.

Metal only for me...

I'm using companies like Black Tree Design now .

Pewter is the best !

Plastic I like, it's much easier to work with than pewter or resin.

That said, even Forge World resin sucks dongcocks. So for me it's either plastic or pewter.

Yep plastic or metal for me here.  Not a fan of resin.

Never crossed brushes with a resin yet! I like some of the models though.

Yup, metal's the only way to go. Been slowly buying through Black Tree Design line past few years myself. Got most of their Dwarves and enough Skaven to make an army.  Sadly their catalog shrank several years ago, they don't have nearly as many goblins and undead as they used too.

I hear If you work with plastic mini's too long it makes your balls shrink and you develop a permanent craving for Panera Bread.

Yep , some of the oldschoolers who worked with GW plastics in 1990 ish, are now fooked.

One of them became Dale Winton

Good question sir!!!! I have no idea !!!

BUT - another member posted his unreleased Marauder minis, that are not listed on CCM Wiki ...

http://jaeckelalone.blogspot.co.uk/2016/

PS: When GW ditched Warhammer, i became very upset and sold all my unreleased models for about £6,000 , lol .... Sorry , i just lost the need to collect everything, and instead focused on armies.

I have now my Empire, Wood Elves, and High Elves, everything else is sold

The Quest for unreleased Empire Minis , can only be likened to the quest for the Holy Grail.

I believe i was very close to having the grail , i had almost all the CCM WIKI unreleased model list.

I think i was missing 7 , the Halfling Captain, the Flagellant Standard Bearer (lost out in ebay auction in 2011 only ever time ive seen him), and the latest Knight at the end added by Steve B, Nuln Spearman, Knight Captain, Albbrecht, Agnes with Flag,

My dreams suddenly became nightmares when i infiltrated an uber elite global underground of secretive collectors, who revealed to me that actually there were unreleased empire models beyond knowledge and having never even been photographed.

I was shown models that i had to promise i would never sahre details of, and i became despondant.

There was a kiselv King in full plate armour, you would have paid £1000 for him i tell you.

YES seriously , there are OOPS Metal  models out there that you won't find any evidence of online.

I had at one stage an Empire State Troop, which was modelled for the plastic kit launch in 6th edition. But never made the cut.

I was sold it on the basis of not beenn able to photograph it, as it was from an insider/employee.....
