2011 it was a Friday night and i had only really just joined the forum a few months before,

I recall seeing the ebay UK listing , and drank a bottle of red wine, and in the closing bids I got outbid at £82!!

No one has ever seen or heard of this model since,

Ask yourself , what is real? 5 sense filtered reality is a very limited perspective.

I never found anyone who owned this either !

It's perhaps almost as elusive as the Nuln Spearman

Re: Chumley Warner's Empire. Marauder Miniatures The Lost Wizards ?! !?!
« Reply #8427 on: April 06, 2018, 09:41:35 PM »

Question: from the references we can read on the slots, MU1, MU3, MU6, MU7 and MU9, at least 5 references are missing. Have you been able to identify them? Do you think they include the other 2 wizard models sold by Warmonger?

Good question sir!!!! I have no idea !!!

PS: When GW ditched Warhammer, i became very upset and sold all my unreleased models for about £6,000 , lol .... Sorry , i just lost the need to collect everything, and instead focused on armies.

I have now my Empire, Wood Elves, and High Elves, everything else is sold
Thanks. And sorry to learn that you sold your collection.
On my side, I try to limit myself to a Marauder Empire army. I hope the number of hidden/secret/unreleased models is quite limited...

Like, for reals? That sound awesome!

YES seriously , there are OOPS Metal  models out there that you won't find any evidence of online.

I had at one stage an Empire State Troop, which was modelled for the plastic kit launch in 6th edition. But never made the cut.

I was sold it on the basis of not beenn able to photograph it, as it was from an insider/employee.....

I once fancied owning every 80's slotta based Orc ever made but it was similar revelations of all the un-photographed, un-cataloged, un-released Orcs that killed the dream.

I'm all for Sea Elves, the old Metal GW ones are amazing, as were the plastic recent ones.....

https://www.games-workshop.com/en-GB/searchResults?N=647457687+995043222&Nr=AND(sku.siteId%3AGB_gw%2Cproduct.locale%3Aen_GB_gw)&Nrs=collection()%2Frecord[product.startDate+%3C%3D+1523981580000+and+product.endDate+%3E%3D+1523981580000]&view=all

Now wtf is this???!!!

It's like Blue skinned chaos marauders, some guy who's burst out of an aquarium , complete with sting ray and fish attached to his feet, and some guy with a flipping octopus attached...

It's so bad i can't look at it,

how did GW fall so far from grace?!?!?!

Woah.  That could keep me from having one included in an army at that price.  Yuck.

Ok , it's taken 4 litres of PVA , and everything on it is set down hard, apart from the one forest, where the trees come loose.

Bloody Hell! That’s beautiful
Pure inspiration. That’s it, the gauntlet is thrown and it’s time for a new board. Amazing job!

Edit: I can’t get over this. You have everything needed spaces out perfectly.

Color me envious... again...

Hope to see some battle reports using this table soon!

How practical is this? The tree board elements can be arranged and turned into only so many positions. And those buildings are always there, if I understood you correctly. Asking beause I've been pondering making my own table, but the problem of (not significantly) rearranging big board elements makes me hesitant.

Looks sus... but I don’t know.

Love your boards by the way. High quality. Do you have other random terrain you put on it too? Are they for gaming or diarama / set piece display?
