Swung by GW store in town today, had a quick chat with the manager, said i was wounded when GW deparrted from WHFB, and i simply don't understand the new Heman AOS models and game,

He conceded similar feelings and admitted he was mosty playing 8th edition using 15K pts of Vampires LOL

that's what most players are doing here as well. They are going to move to 9th age when the rule book comes out.

If you really love Warhammer as it used to be in the 8th ed, but better balanced and more interesting, you are probably best served by T9A 1.1.

The current T9A rulebook will still change before the 'finished' version 2.0. The current 1.5 is a batched 1.3.4. If you don't want to read, re-read and re-interpretate many rules, not to say change your force compositions according to changes in the army books, it's likely better to wait until 2.0. That's what many think when they say they'll wait for T9A to get ready before they start to use it.

BUT

Your undead are gorgeously painted, and I totally agree about the quality of the BTD wraiths and skellies!
