I had him sitting in my secret drawer ready for the right mount !

I think he looks ideal for the chickens!

Nice!

So the seats are about the same size as on horses? I'm considering some kitbashing here...

Indeed.  Size wise, it almost looks like you could fit a demigryph on a normal cav base for a super cool character...  I'm still annoyed beyond belief that the TGM can't ride one... Grr....

That aside, I'm looking forward to your paint job, Chum!

I have the same fig, and was meditating on what mount to put him on, might do the same, the idea to mount a character on a demigriff  is too tempting. Thanx

One of the big wigs... once told them "If a household doesn't have an income of $70,000, we don't consider them a GW target customer."

Demigryphs would just about fit on cav base, but don't think they would rank up that well.  For me as a collector more than a player, I don't care much about the rules, only whether thematically any models I do are sufficiently Empire enough

Four hours after complaining your owlbears haven't arrived yet, you have them assembled and undercoated? Good grief!

Sprue pics up on the site. By the looks of things, yes, the feet are separate.

Feet are separate, but designed to go on specific leg of specific griffon, no interchangle parts without some cutting and filling

It is very unlikely any character will ride a monstrous mount because of the complexities of the additional wounds; the advantage gained by a Demigryph would simply be the attacks of the mount. Have ANY army book had the option to put a character on the back of a monstrous mount?

You mean like a Pegasus?
