I agree with what Delthos is saying and I think Blue proved the point.
Having said that, I prefer white myself. I use a lot of washes. Also, a model undercoated white is more inviting, it feels classic and nice. (A purely subjective remark, of course.)
Anyway, good work as always, Chumley. I like the wizwagon a lot. Xbows do seem a bit dull compared to your normal results though.

Agree 100% must be personal choice, but a black model looks dull to me, uninviting, and uninspiring ...
Even my Teutogen Guard with Black Armour were undercoated White first.
Black is like a reverse paint job, start with dark shades and work lighter,
With White it's all base coats , then wash for dark depth and contrast , then highlight,
I need to experiment by giving myself a character to paint from black ,
i don't own chaos black spray though, LOL
