With regard to a gallery section . . . could we not leverage the technology from some other company and host it there, and link to it?

I shall start a suggesty thread.

Those halfling cavalry figs make me think halflings rising ogres might make an excellent DGK alternative for the moot...

This is one of my favourite characters, Jhary-a-Conel, "sometime traveller, sometime poet and sometime companion to champions", and his winged cat Whiskers. From the first Corum trilogy. Nice paint job, though the colours are all wrong! ;)

It's a little skill I like to call "reading":

Blue silk shirt, scarlet pantaloons, yellow sash around his waist. Long dark blue cloak. He wears knee length soft leather boots and ALWAYS a  trademark hat (colour never described as far as I remember) which sometimes has a feather in it. Whiskers is black with white front, paws, muzzle and wing tips (!) and can communicate (telepathically?) with him.

Yours is nice too though ;)

Let me know if you get your hands on Corum. As a hint, his full name means The Prince in the Scarlet Robe! ;)

The second Corum series is some of the best Moorcock's written, in my opinion.

(Granted, he did "borrow" a lot of it.)

I'm amazed at how many figures Citadel was making in those days. :icon_cool:

And most were totally unique. I hated when they started making five "different" figures by converting one original, then calling it quits, so that a unit of unruly orcs (or whatever) looked like a precision dance team.

As wages go up, production goes down. Downside of capitalism.

They didn't have a couple hundred stores to support back then. All their profits could go into having new miniatures sculpted and cast. Now it's a totally different environment.
