Yeah, that's why I asked about the term 'Von Zeppel' class name; I know the standard "main cannon and steam gun" version is known as a Conqueror class, but not the other classes that were converted by GW at one time or another......

The volley gun one (Old Reliable) is my favorite. I would love to find the kit for a second one, the mast it came with was awesome. According to the 2002 Annual, your open topped one is called Implacable.

Not sure how accurate they are, but I do recognise the pictures; they're from the old White Dwarf article that described the fluff behind these variants. I think the 'Von Zeppel' is correct, and I don't know about the 'Alter Kamerad' name, but that's definitely a Volley Gun in it's hull....

I have the Empire collectors guide

"Conquerer" is the basic steam tank with a steam cannon and turret gun.   Pretty much all the current set makes.  They missed a trick with that kit, they could easily have made variants in a plastic kit.

"Sigmar's Hammer" has no cannon, or turret, but is closed top, and has a bedroll on top.   Has more flags/pennants an alternative chimney top

"Von Zeppel" had the fighting platform, but no cannon or gun, an alternative chimney

"Old Reliable" has a 3 barrel volley gun, a standard pole and other baggage bits

"Implacable" has the open top.  It has a mortar, it did come with a thing for the mortar, and a metal mortar, but pictures show it converted with the current plastic mortar.   It didn't have mortar crew though, so those are usually added from the cannon set.  It did have an alternative chimney and other bits.  *Edit* it also has steam Swivel guns on attached the hull

Those were the only ones that were made available as kits to buy.

There was one called "Deliverance" or something, that had a trailer which was a spare bolier and wheels, mounted on the old metal helblaster, or could have been the old metal mortar carriage.   I can't see how the extra boiler would work since there's no way of filling it, so must be dragged around as spare parts.   That one was somebody's own conversion though, so not an official one, though it was featured in White Dwarf, and I think added to the named list.  N.B.  "Deliverance" is named as a steam tank in the Battle for Nuln in The End Times: Thanquol.   And in The End Times: Glottkin, the steam tank saved from Talabheim is "Miragliano"

I have also seen Von Zeppels with the volley gun part, but that's not the official build for it.

Yes, that's one of mine.  I've not used him in battle yet.   Something I need to rectify I think.

Oxtcutor is right on the button, as always.  there also some other versions that GW never produced conversion kits for, but were either depicted in their article on tanks or in the fluff stories.  One such was the stank armed with repeaters sticking out of the ports along the sides and front. but no cannon.  another involved one the other variants in that the engineer (Von Zepple, I think) was one handed because he lost the other hand when a steam tank he built armed with twin hell blaster blue up when it was fired.  There is a old style tank  the small one converted to match another story of a stank that was a flame thrower and towed it a trailer behind.   I am sure with a little research these can be found, and possibly several more, as in the one the skaven supposedly captured.     steveb

There was one, which I believe I saw on this forum, where someone made a Steam Tank that looked like a locomotive engine. That one was cool as hell. For some reason I thought you had posted a link to that one Steve? Of course my mind may be playing tricks on me.

SteveB has done a conversion of a steam tank that looks like a train.   And many, many, many more!

I've also done one for my Gold College "Luminark" equivalent

both are posted somewhere on the forum, but I can't remember where at the moment.

This is a fast deployed STank , used in a support role, lol

It drives in, deploys Mortar fire, then drives off fast if the battle looks bad !

My eyes just focus on the really big gaps, sorry. 

The metal stank is a pain in the backside to fit properly, but I think better to fill those gaps before painting, to make it look like one part.  Possibly a bit too late to sort now.  It does mean greenstuffing, which is one of my least favourite things, as I can't sculpt much very well.

One thing I think would stand out is putting a name or some writing on the scroll work on the front of it
