The 2018 Bash will be held on:
Saturday April 28th, Sunday April 29th and Monday April 30th
The Tuesday is "May Day" and a Public Holiday in Belgium, as well as most of Europe.
So Travelling Friday April 27th and probably going home Tuesday May 1st
Venue - HQ Club's NEW Clubhouse at St Niklaas, Belgium.
Soth has 'reserved' a number of twin rooms at the IBIS, for the full 4-night stay (Friday to Monday inclusive).
Those rooms will be allocated to people as they confirm they will definitely be coming.
Once those rooms are filled it will be pot luck if there are still vacancies at the IBIS or we will look at the 'New Flanders' hotel as back-up.
IBIS Hotel pricing last year was:
65 euro, single room, includes breakfast
78 euro, TWIN room, includes breakfast for two.
Last year we each paid 60 euros total for the 4 evening meals. The only other costs were maybe a lunchtime snack and of course the odd (?) beer ........................
I will edit and amend this post as any new info comes along, and feel free to post your intentions and likely attendance below.
This is the 11th consecutive year and although there are some regulars, there are only two people who have attended all eleven.
New faces are always welcome, and you might even get one on Midaski's tab ....................
Attending:
warhammerlord_soth Belgium
StealthKnightSteg Netherlands Fri, Sat, Sun, Mon Nights (4)
Ratman Netherlands Fri, Sat, Sun, Mon Nights (4)
cisse Belgium Sat, Sun, Mon Nights (3)
Midaski United Kingdom Fri, Sat, Sun, Mon Nights (4)
Novogrod Belgium Sat, Sun Nights (2)
Daphne Belgium Sat, Sun Nights (2)
Henerius Netherlands Single Room Sat, Sun Nights (2)
Shavixmir The Lowlands
Commandant Ireland
-
27th will be Kingsday here, nothing of importance for the Dutch on April 30th and May 1st
-
Seems like a plan!
-
Mail to Ibis has been sent. Waiting for reply.
On a side note, I expect all of you to bring flowers for mrs Soth, as she is sacrificing yet another anniversary weekend. We will be together 18 years on the 29th... And she will probably be slaving in the kitchen for us all.
-
Flowers. Got it!
Count me in, I'll be there.
-
Got an option on 10 rooms for the weekend.
Now make this the biggest turnout ever, so we can actually fill them...
-
Sure they are TWINS?
-
Naah... you guys can share beds... :engel:
-
Forget about beds, I bet you could really save money putting them up in a tent somewhere. Or just string a hammock in the local park.
-
Are the parks safe in Belgium? Ya know there are migrants running around and terrorists! :icon_wink:
-
Are you aware of their average age ?
Some would be so stiff in the morning they would need to be rolled to the bash.
-
"Be stiff in the morning" - God, if only .............................. :engel:
-
:biggriin: :biggriin: :biggriin: :biggriin: :biggriin:
-
Uh oh, sounds like there are dead people in the parks, or there will be. Nope, doesn't seem like a could place to sleep to me.
-
"Be stiff in the morning" - God, if only .............................. :engel:
And you will share a room with who? :|
-
Midaski is sharing a room with Finlay. :icon_wink:
-
Like in every sitcom everywhere, where they cram two opposing people in a room for a few hours and they come out best comrades and possibly in love! Having worked everything out.
-
They could easily share a room.
We have civilized arguments.
And pistols at dawn. Not during the evening.
-
All arguments are settled on the warhammer table. En garde!
-
That won’t work, midaski will take so long to write a list that the whole argument would of blown over before that!
-
Has Midaski finished the last one? :icon_wink:
-
In all seriousness, please confirm attendance as soon as you can.
The sooner I can book the rooms the better. Now if somebody wants one of our 10 rooms, I get a warning, nothing more.
-
This time I'm not even going to pretend that I'll be able to make it. I'll be in Venice at the beginning of the month and the money will be more than tight.
Will wait for the awesome photo show, tough.
-
I shall try to make it of course
-
Note me up, word is out to Ratman and gobboman if they will join.
-
28th, 29th and 30th the nights in between a single room if possible.
@Soth: Missiles a Sea or a battle Victory at Sea?
-
Anything at sea. I'm game
-
Note me up, word is out to Ratman and gobboman if they will join.
Ratman is a go, nothing yet on Gobboman.. And word out on 2 other mates as well (if that's ok with the group here)
Edit: Oh, I see Erwin is already on the possible list.. And I didn't even list him yet until this post and not even by name
-
The Inquisition has its ways...
And anyone interested in a weekend of gaming is welcome, really.
-
And word out on 2 other mates as well (if that's ok with the group here)
2 guys? you want to get make me jealous!
-
You can bring 2 girls then
-
I'll be there from saturday till monday - or tuesday morning.
So 3 nights for me please (saturday night, sunday night, monday night).
-
I might be going to Philadelphia in the autumn, which means I'd likely have to use my holiday budget and leave for that instead of Bash this year.

Today there were some big steps taken to be able to come this year, and Ms. Realjuan gave it a wink and said she did enjoy it but she would like to spend a few extra days on other locations along the way.
I will confirm asap.
-
Karl getting a little excited there. :icon_lol:
-
We would like to stay for 2 nights, 28 - 29 & 29 - 30.
-
So where in Belgium is it? How far from amsterdam by car? 2 hrs 40 mins?
-
Man, it's always weird hearing about crossing multiple European countries in a couple of hours. In three hours I'd barely get anywhere in Ontario. Last time I went down to Niagara falls it took 5 hours.
-
So where in Belgium is it? How far from amsterdam by car? 2 hrs 40 mins?
Sint Niklaas just south of Antwerp
Around 2 hours from schiphol airport (Amsterdams international airport)
-
Or fly to Brussels zaventem airport. 45 min. drive
-
Gobbo is a no, he can't get the financials ready for this.
-
I'm gonna try to come down for a day of gaming (the Saturday or the Sunday).
And I really want to be at the BBQ (will that be Monday afternoon?).
However, I won't be sleeping over.
If I do accidentally get drunk I'll meditate on a bench all night or something.
-
Not sure if this is possible for me anymore.
My wife is trying to get amsterdam accomodation in may at the moment instead of late april in the UK, so might miss the dates.
I would only be dropping by for an hour or two anyway for lunch or a drink to meet everyone in person anyway.

What is happening Shav? No more strange conversations late at night at the Bash?
-
Oh, I’m trusting karma nowadays.
Karma and unicorns.
-
Maybe I am coming by again.
London on the 26th of April, leaving Paris 25th of May. A lot of time in the netherlands, but should be dropping by Belgium maybe the 29th...

Would love that !
A month in Europe then ?

A month in Europe then ?
Correct! Need to figure out an itinerary.
Nervous about flights with a 1 yr old and a 4 yr old.

how old is the 1? near to 1 or near to 2?
Toddlers are easily the worst to fly with, babys sleep and 4+ can be entertained partially with tablets etc.
although ive never done anything close to magnitude of oz to uk.
good luck!

Thanks!
1 year old is 1 in a month. So will be 14 months. She loves crawling and is starting to walk currently. She might be ok, or she might be horrible. I don’t know.
4 year old is 3 now, but will have just turned 4 by flight time. I expect / hope he will be fine watching shows. He will be wired though, but yeah I reckon he will be ok.
-
Our boy did the Sydney - Chengdu trip twice, once just before he was 3, and again just before 4. It’s a 15-18 hour ordeal from airport to airport. My only advice is to do the absolute best you can to get the older one to sleep as much as possible. The baby will be fine as long as her ears don’t hurt. She will be a bit old but hopefully loves her sleep!
-
Ok.
Good to know, thanks Sig.
She hates her dummy. So honestly dont know with her.
-
Ok - spoke to Soth today - decision time
He has to confirm the rooms in the next few days so we need yes or no from all of you.
-
Sadly is a no for me & mrs. Realjuan. Parents want to have a family gathering, and thats a lot of time and money.
-
I'm a no, saving for my trip to America and been on strike at work as well.
-
yes for me and Ratman
-
Yes for me and Daphné, on the days mentioned earlier.

Yes for me, for the days I mentioned earlier in this thread
-
I have updated the list of attendees in the first post.
Please check I have got it correct?
Soth is confirming rooms this weekend :icon_exclaim:
-
Rooms booked and confirmed
-
Great! Looking forward to it
-
I'm a no, saving for my trip to America and been on strike at work as well.
If you somehow end up in the North Carolina/Virginia area, let me know! I surely owe you some beers!
-
Rooms booked and confirmed
Awesome! Really looking forward to it! Even though we somewhat have a smaller group.
-
Flights are booked. Can I get a room for the Saturday night only as I need to fly home on the Sunday night? Also what are people playing this year as I won't just be able to bring everything.
:)
-
It seems like not a lot of people are attending this year :?
-
I could say something about quality over quantity... :engel:
-
Again the yearly lamentation. I wish I could attend. I need a lottery and a real future to get there. Wouldn’t it be great if everyone could make the trip? That would be fun.
-

We'd need a larger clubhouse though.
-
Just put them all up in tents in the local parks. I'm sure that would go fine.
-
I will be there. Sunday afternoon or Monday morning.
If we come in on Sunday afternoon, we will need a place to stay that night. Any recommendations for 2 adults, a 4 year old and a 1 year old?
Also any requests from Aus? And any requests for any of my miniatures that I might want to part with? I have some amazons and a handful of kossars I could bring along....

Jippiekajaaay !
Ibis Hotel would be best. I have special prices there (essentially free breakfast), so if you can confirm I can book you there.

Awesome! I don't have a request from Aus, but I might have one for you returning to Aus if you are ever near Melbourne and/or Hobart :)

I’m from Sydney (look under my Avatar) and I fly to Brisbane for work every month or two. Dont go to Melbourne or Hobart often though sorry!
-
Damn, first I've missed the mug and now the shirt. I feel like shit.

2 more weeks to go!
Counting down!
-
I'd better get something organised then...
-
1 more week!
@Soth how about payments?
Can I wire you the money already? (2x78 + 60 = 216)
-
Team UK is now looking like 'Solo UK'
My lad is not well enough yet, and I PM'd Fr1day and haven't heard back. We had spoken on the phone and he was very busy workwise, so I am guessing he's under pressure.
-
That is not good news.
But at least you won't break youor attendance streak.
-

Sure
-
I think this could very well be the end of a great tradition.
11 participants left, most of which could just as well drive over for a game.
That said, I intend to have fun and make sure the other attendants do as well.
Now prove me wrong by attending last minute, or stating a clear intention for next year...
-
:icon_cry:
-
Nooo! The bash is one of my favorite things to see and hear about each year. If only the Atlantic was smaller.
-
Not saying I want it to end.
But if no one comes to the party, it is not worth throwing one.
That said, I'm sure we'll have a good time and I'll get motivated for another one...
-
What armies should I consider packing
9th Age?
Frostgrave?
I have some 15mm Ottomans that I can bring along :)
-
I’m glad tou’re coming!
-
I expect to see you there. Should I bring a TWAK army?
-
I expect to see you there. Should I bring a TWAK army?
Oh, i don’t even know where to find my armies!
It’s been so long since I’ve played anything.
Do you have pirates?
-
Maybe consider attending to see your favourite moderator from down under for his first ever visit on Sunday afternoon and overnight!
Other than sig and Nicholas Bies, I haven’t met any other forum members in the flesh!
-
Flesh
We don't have any of that masonic shenanigans at the Bash - what Shav gets up to on his own is nothing to do with the rest of us :engel:

Oh Midaski.... one of us will be sqealing like a fried pig by the end of Saturday...
-
Some day I might get a passport. :icon_lol:
Seriously, I need a passport to go to Canada now and go game with Gankom and Artoban.
And the new lady friend wants to go to Niagra Falls, so need a passport for that too.
I'd love to attend the Eurobash one day.
-
All great reasons for a passport👆😸
-
I'm with Artoban. Get a passport GP and come up to the glorious land of syrup! Show the lady friend our side of the falls. (It's totally better.)
I have family in England and Germany, so it's the kind of thing were every year we talk about visiting then sadly don't. One of these day's I'll use it as an excuse to go over around Bash time and drop in.
Even though there's a solid 75% chance visiting my family in Germany will be like that part of National Lampoons Family Vacation where they go to the wrong house and no one can tell because no one speaks the language.
-
😺👆

Oh, i don’t even know where to find my armies!

Do you have pirates?
I can't remember what armies I have. I'll dig out the rules and see :) Mostly I have empire models though so I'd say my chance of having pirates is slim
-
Well I'm bringing a 2k T'au army (will have some proxies for farsight marskmen and Sniper Drones as those things aren't available at the moment :( ) and will fiddle with some builds for 1k and 1.5k otherwise I could manage that over there.
Same for AoS a 1k, 1.5k, 2k Stormcast Army, might also take a 1k Bloodbound army with me
Some models for Mordheim and Frostgrave
-
1 week to go, and counting down.
I'll bring one (or two) 40k armies, a mordheim warband, and a frostgrave warband
I's a pity some of the usual customers had to bail out, but I'm sure we'll have a great time and make those who are not present, be all the more sad for it
-
Warhammer, Guild Ball, Xwing, Victory at Sea, Uncharted Seas etc...

Any word yet on mr Piechee and Fr1day?
-
Mordheim, frostgrave, Missiles at Sea, Sails of glory....
Should I bring a ship for a naval game of Legends of the high seas?
-

Yes!
-
We could always have a Bolt Action RPG ....................... I haven't tried to shoot anybody for ages ...............
and yes - it looks like I am the sole UK representative this year :icon_rolleyes:
-
Take lots of pictures! Pictures are the best part.

TWAK = The World as Known: Shav's system. The pirates are a faction I believe:
-
Pirates:
Figures with weapons - swords, pistols, muskets, boarding pikes (spears), great weapons (double handed)
There you go ................. :engel:
-
I'm glad Midaski's figures will have weapons!
-
and yes - it looks like I am the sole UK representative this year :icon_rolleyes:
This makes me sad that Mr Piechee isn't feeling too well that he can't come, but also missing Fr1day now!
Anyway real glad that you will still make it Mids!
-
It looks like we will be the last of the bashers.
-
We are just having an off year... "nothing on the hand!". Next year will be glorious again with attendees!
-
We can discuss 'motivation' for next year this weekend.
When we all played Frostgrave a couple of years ago there was a sort of 'theme' for the trip - maybe we need to choose such a theme each year.
Given the origins and history of the Bash based on Warhammer Empire, I have been considering having a serious look at 9th Age.
There are some whingers, but WHFB always had those, and reports of balance and how you can use pretty much all units have me interested.
Furthermore I have just discovered that Bugman himself is part of the set up and his endorsement is another strong plus.
Imagine dusting off the old Empire army and taking to the field at next year's Bash ..................
................... if I start next week I can probably have the army list written by Christmas. :engel:

I think with fantasy fracturing it is a big problem with what you end up mandating.
I didn't feel like playing Frostgrave last year, so didn't bring my models/books. But I do also think it is potentially helpful to do it as well.
I find this generally true for all my Hobbying, since fantasy died i've branched out and tried a few different things but nothing has really grabbed me.
40k has been consistently enjoyable, even when the general community was decrying it as broken I enjoyed my games.
I've also tried other games and while I enjoyed playing them, they didn't grab me enough to want to carry on with any great passion (frostgrave, DropFleet more serious attempts, shadowar, star wars, and a boardgame/mini cross i tried with Matt)
In terms of my participation, I hopefully won't be on strike for a month next year, which has hit my financials enough (combined with my trip to the US) to make it not feasible this year.
Also I end up on 2-3 personal mini break holidays each year, which my wife doesn't do, which I felt was getting harder to justify in terms of money and time with 3 kiddos and the wife's work incredibly busy- it's certainly not my intention to never come again, but it might swap to every other year instead of every year nailed on.
but having said all that.... I do actually have a hankering for lining up a load of halflings/dwarfs in a tray and shuffling them around a board next year!
-
Well!
I am looking forward to seeing you all again!
I’ll be there on Saturday and Sunday (and maybe Monday late afternoon.
Commandante: I meant pirates as in Hennies pirate game.
However, I found a sort of army, so I’ll bring a twak army too.
Misaski... are you serious you’d like a ww2 RPG of sorts?
-
A WW2 RPG sounds fun! :icon_cool:

My Pirate game was Legends of the High Seas I think you mean. Had an other pirate game but we never played it.
Legends of the High Seas is a lot of fun to play. :)
And Midaski is serious he didn't try to shoot somebody in a while. I don't know if somebody has the models for it but I also really enjoyed those two scenarios you made there. I bet Commandant did as well.
-
I'm always interested in WW2 RPG.
Oh, I don't think so. Mostly I just have empire soldiers
-
Righty oh.
I’ll see what I can do.
-
Soth's obsession is Guildball at the moment, but apparently their Crisis demo board of "Chicago Way" is set up at the new club so I fancy calling someone "You dirty rat" :engel:
I am also informed for those of you who remember the first premises for the Bash, way back in 2008, and have also been to the venue for the last few years that the 'chalk and cheese' improvement will be the same for their new club.
Oh that's for the few who are attending this year. :closed-eyes:
I understand that they have been working on it solidly for 6 months and it is way better than last year's model, and let's face it we would all have loved a club like that in our home town.
Warlord is coming all the way from Oz just to see it. :biggriin:
-
I don’t know what guild ball is.
Is it Maffia?

Alright lads (well, and lassies).
I've got a WW2 RPG / battle game for ya's.
The guns of Sint Nicoronne
There's probably a bridge, most likely a tiger tank and almost certainly a gun or two...
I've just created a character sheet and a rules pack (well... rules and pack are probably exaggerations).
I'll print 'em and bring 'em.
The game will need between 4 and 6 players. Or at least something like 2 to 5 players, although, 7 is probably fine too.
The game will need you to know the exact details of WW2. For a complete guide to WW2 combat, I recommend the following documentaries:
- Kelly's heroes
- The A-team
- Full metal jacket
- The spy who loved me
The game does not need someone saying: "Oh, Mark, a Sherman is a medium tank and the M4 had two machine guns, blah blah blah."
If you do feel the need to express your knowledge of a Sherman tank, do so without saying: "blah blah blah."
See ya's tomorrow!
-
:biggriin:
Anyway it starts today!! Leaving in about an hour or 2
-

I have no models for it but would be happy to join in if you need players.
I'll be there on saturday at midday or something, have work and a concert this evening so will need to pack my models this night to bring them tomorrow.
Is someone going to bring a WH40K army? I'd love to play some more 8th ed games but little use in bringing my guys if I'm the only one.
-
Shav I would like to take out a Tiger tank the A-team way.
We will arrive tomorrow evening, because of a little family reunion (my nephew gets his child baptised).
Do I bring a small (2500pt) the 9th age army with me?
-
Guys, bring whatever you fancy.
I urged regular club members to join the fray as well.
Those interested can join our FB group and connect with people for a game of "whatever you fancy".
Dodgy requests will be monitored and reprimanded of course... so no post like "Who wants a game of hanky panky?"
https://www.facebook.com/groups/HQGAMINGCLUB
-
How is that a dodgy request?
-
Where is the club?
-
It doesn't appear to be where it was
-
Well suckers new place is fantastic. Probably 90% finished but same size playing space - great shelf storage, bar and toilets are 4 star hotel standard - with 'ladies' as well.
This morning 4-way Chicago Way with Soth GMing - Shav's gangsters, Steg's Cops, Midaski's Moonshine and Ratman's FBI.
To come Legends of the High Seas multiplayer this afternoon.
-
Having fun here with my pigs in Chicago way, though one bit the dust already.
yesterday evening played zombicide for the first time.
still hoping to get some AoS and 40k games in.
-
... and the Moonshine storm to victory ......
Well maybe with some erratic driving ..... :engel:
-
Really digging this live commentary we have going. There should be a Eurobash twitter to live tweet the whole event.
-
Going to be leaving soon from London via train. Not sure how long, or all the train links and everything, bug see you all later this afternoon.
-
Doing my best to bring you the latest news, but the whizz of musket balls makes writing hard. Cannonballs crashing into fortifications and enemy ships mean keeping one's head down is the wisest move.
-
How the girls tamed the pirates...
or... how photobucket has fucked the internet.
Seeminly, unless I pay 400 dollars, I can't link the photos I have on photobucket.
Is that blackmail?
Anyhoo... you can't download them all in one go either. You have to do it photo for photo... or pay.
Obviously being half Scottish and half Dutch, payings not gonna happen.
So, the large problem is... how to link to photo's here to show you my female pirates ravaging the pirate world?
I have no idea.
-
don't use photobucket.
I think 023 and padre got fucked by it as well
-
Quote Shav: Obviously being half Scottish and half Dutch, payings not gonna happen.
Funniest thing this week and last.

So we are pleased to announce that Warlord has won the "Intercontinental Attendance Challenge" on behalf of Australasia being the first non-European to appear at the Bash, thereby putting the North Americans to shame. :engel:
Please note:
RealJuan earned a merit award but despite being Colombian his german residency did not earn South America the title.
Also Shav does not earn recognition in this category as Scotland is not recognised as a civilised country or part of Europe.
Added bonus for Warlord is that he also becomes a member of that very very select club ........ who have had "one on Midaski's tab" :biggriin:
-

As was fortold in the scrolls.

Was great to meet so many of you in person, shame I couldn’t stay longer, but family holiday afterall. Dinner at Soth’s house was a great night, and the club is a fantastic place to be, and Midaski is as old as they say, but just as generous as Soth. Also helped that I sat down to one game of Munchkin and won! I did take cisse’s hand on level 3, but I took it to the end. Considering that was the only game I played in my swing by, I guess consider me undefeated! If any of you want a rematch, see you in Sydney!
-
Sounds like a good way to start the AussieBash, although half the event is just trying to avoid the dangerous animals like wombats and drop bears.
-
I tried explaining drop bears yesterday..

Oh, please, you biased auld English-person!
Everyone knows Aussietrallopia is a country filled with convicts and prison guards!
And poisonous kangaroos and spiders.
The only culture to come from there is Rolf bloody Harris and ACDC.
One’s a convicted criminal and the other’s a band full of convicted criminals.
Pffff we in Scotland have Haggis, the Proclaimers and bagpipes!
Just so tou know!

Were you still there when I mentioned I killed a adult huntsman every 2 days during a few weeks in summer, and then a month later to have 200 baby spiders hatch behind our bed? I went upstairs to change after work and there were spots all over our bed. The next 6 hrs I killed all 200 of them as they came out of wherever the adult layed its eggs behind the skirting board.
Thats Australia.
You should instead been drawing on your Dutch heritage, saying the Dutch discovered Australia first and decided it wasn’t worth settling, and then the Brits found it but claimed it as their own.
-
We all know Shav is exaggeration.
There's no such thing as prison guards in Australia. That's what the desert is for. They just dropped the buggers off on the coast and went home for tea and crumpets.
I have at least a few welsh ancestors way back who won themselves a one way trip to Australia for being thieving blighters.
-
What did we learn this year at the bash? Yes, some very important lessons for the future!
* Warlord isn't a tall white bearded wizard. But he is the master of the dungeon.
* Shav is still a charming as ever, and loves pirate ladies. Who go out and steal the son of the "governor".
* A spellcaster (called Gargamel) isn't great at casting spells and killing zombies with it. But he is better with a sword. A dwarf smith is great at cast spells, although he normally wields a hammer.
* Change of habit isn't good for Midaski, as his internal systems can't adapt that fast.

As I remember we also mentioned that after the brits made it a disaster country the dutch immigrants tried to make it better again. Look at the metric system and such.. now just that darned left side driving to abolish!
Was really nice meeting you Warlord! Hope to take that challenge to Sydney some day when I'll visit my other relatives!

I can add to this!
* Shav should never let Molly drive EVER again!
* Eurobash for Soth makes things "hard" on him :engel:
* When I do get married again Eurobashers are invited to attend, everyone can draw their own conclusions from it :closed-eyes:
-
Tut Tut Steg - we agreed we wouldn't talk about weddings until Soth was ready to announce it ...............
I thought An looked 'radiant' ................
................. or weren't we supposed to give that away.
Such a pity non-attending regulars will have missed the once in a lifetime event.

Nope. Then I wasn't there.
Seriously. Spiders are not my thing.
Nope, na and never.

Nice shop for sure.
Not a shop. Our clubhouse.
Paid for with drinks and food over the last decade, and adapted to our needs by voluntary hard labour overe the past months....
Apart from selling food and drinks, we have no commercial activity.
-
Great pics Henners!
It is just so much fun to play a game on great scenery. The Chicago Way table was just brilliant - built by Soth and clubmates over several months for a demo game at Crisis in Antwerp last November. All the rooves and various floors lift off to allow access inside, and are held in place safely by magnets until access is needed. The diner by the basketball court saw some serious gunplay inside.
The Legends of the High Seas table was set up by Henners using mats overlaid with items from the extensive scenery collection of the club
AND - Whoo Hooo - despite things like the 9% beer, large breakfasts, spaghetti, stew and chips, cake and champagne, slimline ( as you can see compared to Shav :engel: ) Midaski only put ONE lb on all weekend. :biggriin:
-
I might add that all the houses on both tables were 3D printed and painted by me....
And I'm not surprised you did not gain wait. The fruit must have helped.

Reason, I sometimes look for jobs in Belgium....
Wish something like that was possible in my city, but I think rent is just too high + getting the place itself almost impossible.
Great to see you guys having fun, and I hope I will be more often there. I just have a few big trips this year, so I couldnt make it.

Even more impressive!👆

Someone said Mids was as old as dust somewhere above or in another thread. He’s looking pretty spry for a pensioner. Some rejuvenate program we don’t know about? Hope I look as good when another 12 years blow by. 😺
-
By the way, I like the looks of that brick dwelling and it's surrounding landscape. :icon_cool:
-
Fantastic pictures! Looks like a great time as always.
Everyone looks so serious in most of the group photo's! Clearly trying to strategize their way to victory.
-
Nice pictures, my favorite is Vincent proud of having a street named after him. Was about time that one Basher was immortalized in the city after 11 years of continuous invasion.
Peter after what appears to be an attack for the control of the dinner table.
Love that our members are up to date with fashion even during the harsh weather.
Glad you all had fun, and thanks for sharing the pictures.
Note: When Mrs. Juan wanted to go for a walk.....you all ran away, and now that she is not there you do it voluntarily.

Not only me!

Mathi has been giving me my true title for years ………………. and you don't realise.
Huh it's back to spelling it with a 'U' …………………….. :closed-eyes:
………. and "Mrs" Juan - is there something you're not telling us :biggriin:

Looking good.

Yes pictures of Zombicide. It is a very good game to my own suprise I have to admit. :engel:
-
I'v heard lots of good things about Zombicide but haven't been able to try it myself. Are the zombies randomly controlled or under a player?

Sort of random, they move towards most noise or to something in line of sight
-
Ah that's pretty cool. I've played Dead of Winter (I think it's called) which has one of the players as the zombie.

Since Dropbox and others doesn't seem to work, I will try this: https://photos.app.goo.gl/8eqjdnQJ4OAqMOw53 (https://photos.app.goo.gl/8eqjdnQJ4OAqMOw53)

I swear every time this happens we get the same picture of Midaski sitting at the same table writing a list.
Maybe by 2020 he'll have finished that list.

True. We just move the table to another location once every few years
-
I like how serious people can look. He is REALLY working on that list. Everyone is REALLY focused on Munchkin. etc.
Where's the drunken shenanigans? Where's the wacky Hangover style adventures?
Just some serious wargame time.

Off camera ?

You mean you don't snap hundreds of pictures of the embarrassing moments and put them up online, for all to see now and forever? But... but that's what I thought the culture does nowadays?

Eurobash is not that kind of party...

Have you seen the average age of attendees - hardly today's wannabee celeb mentality :biggriin:
I also have to correct DWhitey's interpretation - I only half wrote a list the whole weekend - didn't have to as Soth GM'd the Chicago Way and I just had to spend on a gang.
Henerius did the pirate lists.
I was actually 'reading' some rule books I had bought recently and was making notes on the system - I think the one in the picture was 'Outremer'

Well some of us are still young and fresh :closed-eyes:

I can attest to that. Soth is quite cheeky actually, but hard to capture that on camera. Henerius has a way too, but that is definitely hard to capture on camera too. Hmmm, I think I might be a quick to smile type, but I wasn’t there for many photos.

Wannabee? Pfft, don't sell yourselves short. You lot are Warhammer-Empire celebs, and there's nothing greater then that.

Great collection! I have to admit that I never played the game, but heard a lot about it.
Have you guys tried Blood and Plunder?
I think we all have a soft spot for pirate games.
