Technically from the insurance company's and legal point of view, the guy who cut stretch off is not responsible for the damages, though he might be guilty of reckless driving. If there was no police man there to see it, it's doubtful they would be able to convict him. In this case, since Stretch avoided the accident, and the woman did not, it is considered the woman's fault, which is why her insurance will be paying.

 ^^ This. The guy's not responsible, and if I'd hit him I believe I'm technically responsible. The cops could have done him for speeding and *maybe* reckless driving if they'd been around, but that's about it. He's not responsible for the accident.

The girl's insurance will cover it - she's already reported it and I just have to give them my details then get a quote on the damage and it's all taken care of. Figured I'd offer to take her out for dinner as well, seeing as it's a ping on her record and it wasn't really her fault *shrug*.

So first hurdle jumped...

We met our deadline with the help of someone else.  He's been a lot of help but can't fully finish the job by himself he doesn't think.  The person who has been giving us mad problems has had a talking to by management, but considering her not so nice attitude she's going to be a complete pill to work with any time in the future (we've been told she's probably on the warpath).  The best part of it is, her ability has been constantly in question over the last couple of months but we've been told that she may still need to work with us because she's the only one who may know how to do it even though she has proven she can't.

Again, it'll work itself out I'm sure.
