Any theme you have in mind for your army?  :-)

It is not enough to have no ideas of your own; you must also be incapable of expressing them.

I've made one from the Free Company kit, he is not a very blingy Witch Hunter but that suits the theme of my army. He has all the key bits for a WH; the leather coat, the feathered hat and the twin pistols. Nice, simple and cheap (well, as long as you have the Free Company box and have a body to spare :D)

I also did a mostly free company wit h hunter but I gave him a bretonnian hooded head to make him a bit more of a dirty street witch hunter.

This is my conversion (still needs to be finished):

I've used:
- 40k starter kit chaos cultist champion body
- Empire Greatswords champion hat (with an added cylinder)
- 40k bits cross, probably Dark Angels bits (honestly I don't know where is it from or how it's called)
- Empire knightly orders hairy head
- Empire Greatswords torso
- Empire pistolier arms
- High elf spearmen dagger

The chaos symbol still needs to be shaved of and I need to sculpt a codpiece.

on another note, has anyone experienced the awesomeness of sniping an enemy general out of a unit with a killing blow pistol shot?? ;)

I made a Witch Hunter using the Steam Tank Engineer torso, a hooded head from the Dark Angel Terminators set, sword arm and crossbow from Handgunner/Crossbow kit.  I'll post a pic later.

Mine is not as impressive as Silver WOlf 's but it's a pretty simple kitbash: Greatsword body, outrider cloak, pistolier pistols.
The steam tank commander would work very well to
President Merkin Muffley: Gentlemen, you can't fight in here! This is the War Room.

Yeah I was thinking that hes only 50 pts so might as well do a conversion and try him out, I find you dont need to do an AMAZING conversion if the character is just a hero or something.

I could assemble one more head like the one this guy has. I have the bits.

But the rest of the bits is a bit hard to find...
The 40k champion is rarely sold without the rest of the cultists, and I don't have any more pistolier arms...

Thanks.  :icon_biggrin:
Even though finding so many cultist champion bodies for a normal price probably wouldn't be possible.

I was lucky. I had most of the needed bits lying around and all I had to do was to find one cultist champion body.
This guy ended up being half the price of the current GW Witchunter.

Well converting from the parts you have lying around is obviously amazing and easy and cool. I get what you're saying. I just converted a warrior priest :p

I'll probably end up buying one because I thought about it and I actually dont hate the witch hunter model that much :p

Here is my conversion :)
Wolfgang Klink is his name and he bases on a wh40k witchhunter or inquisitor :)
His arms are from....Greatswords and pistoliers, I think. Just a kit bash :)

mine's a simple conversion using the body of a crossbowmen, the hands are a handgunner sergeant, feather, hat and head are from halbadiers I think.

Its not visible easily but he's wearing a white wolf cloak with a sword that i chopped in half and glued to look like its strapped to his back underneath.

Nice and easy conversion that cost next to nothing.

Poor picture quality.  I went with a hooded Witch Hunter armed with sword, crossbow, and eventually pistol.  I will also add some scrolls, a tome, etc.

Greatsword body with hooded head looks great!
