Middleham?
It is not enough to have no ideas of your own; you must also be incapable of expressing them.

Perhaps too much of your own brew?

True, but I'd still love to grab one of them. They look splendid!

I like the concept but not the execution. I think my biggest dislike is the tiny wheels in the front.

I do like the ship part, though. I would love to get one to convert it into a Blanchesque creation...

My ideas ran that way - I have one complete with crew and three others without the crew, and I had visions of conversions.

However having seen the current prices, I cannot decide if it would be viewed as insane or sacrilege ................

With the advent of Blood and Plunder, it really doesn't seem to be so very hard to kitbash your own these days.

Are there just pirate ships available? I purchased a really nice one from Zenda or something like that; a Russian company. Beautiful thing. Still in the box.

Zvezda, I'd guess.

Speaking of which, I'm still disappointed I didn't get one of their elf flying swan boat things during the brief run of their fantasy miniatures line.

Yes, those are surprisingly good.

The Flying Dutchman I recall was amazing.

It is pretty good. I have that and the black pearl. But the chinese junk would have made a great orc warship, and a good alternate for battles.

Too late now, and not going to spend the money anymore, but yeah...

Not entirely on topic, but related to the discussion of ship above.... as the clock ticks down and I've only bought a very small amount in to the Bones 4 KS, this pops up to tempt me:
